It's a new reality show coming to ITV in Autmn that will see celebrities taking the jobs of airport staff. here's the article on wikipedia, that I pretty much wrote myself:

CelebAir is an upcoming reality TV series, which will see ten celebrities doing the jobs of cabin crew and check-in attendants. The series is to be presented by Angelica Bell and will air in autumn 2008 on ITV2.

Zeppotron have subchartered an Airbus A321 from Monarch Airlines, registration G-OZBI, which has been repainted into CelebAir colours.

Before any of the celebrites are allowed to start their new jobs, they will have to undertake a rigorous six-week training programme run by Monarch, the airline involved in the show, and they will be required to adhere to Monarch’s standards whilst working for CelebAir.

The series is set in Gatwick Airport. There are seven destinations that CelebAir will fly to: Tenerife, Faro, Malaga, Ibiza, Mahon, Cyprus and Alicante

Only about a week and a half a think. Chico said he started training in early August/late July so I magaine it would n't be more than two weeks behind.

CelebAir's star contestants threatened to rebel against producers following a row over alcohol, according to a report.

The celebrities were instructed to resit the Civil Aviation Authority exam after it was discovered that they had enjoyed a boozy lunch before taking the first test.

"They were up in arms because they'd all passed and couldn't see why they had to bother to do the exam again," an insider told the Daily Star. "But safety is paramount for the producers and they felt they couldn't take a chance. They wanted to be sure they knew their stuff.

"They were on the verge of walking out until they were promised a day at a spa if they agreed to resit it."

CelebAir follows a group of stars as they become employees at a real-life airline, taking on a variety of duties on the ground and in the air. The show's lineup includes Neighbours actor Dan O'Connor, former Blazin' Squad member Kenzie and X Factor star Chico Slimani.

"Chico is really getting on everyone's nerves," the insider added. "They're tired and stressed and there's a lot of tension - and sometimes he's the last person you want around."

CelebAir begins on Tuesday at 9pm on ITV2.

Secret Millionaire is on at the same time and I can't watch either on their +1 channels because I'd be watching the BB eviction an hour late because I'd have to watch that at 11pm, and my Sky+ broke about a week after the HD box broke as well and they're taking forever to send out the new boxes :bawling:

So yeah, does anyone know if it will be repeated soon or put onto the ITV Catchup thing?

Would you consider doing this job when you stop modelling?

"I don't want to keep whacking them out for a living. I've got a baby girl now so I want to be a good mum and don't want to keep doing modelling for a living. Being a flight attendant was always something that I'd thought about doing because it's my kind of job. I need to be out and about and doing something different [every day]. As long as every day isn't like today, I think I'd enjoy it!"

Does your husband like the uniform?

"I haven't been able to take it home, but the first day I got it, I got Lisa-Scott Lee to take a picture of me and I sent it to him. He really liked it!"

Who have you been getting along with most out of the other contestants?

"I would say Maffia, I get on with her so well. We have a good laugh together. She is absolutely mental. I really love Johnny and Lisa, they are the nicest couple, they are my tip to win. It could be them two against each other in the final. She's just like a little ray of sunshine and he's the cheeky lad that everyone loves."

Has it been like going back to school where you have the cool gang and the geeky kids?

"A little bit. I would say Kenzie is the naughty boy in the corner that never says anything and just lets out cheeky jokes every now and again. Who are the swots? I would say Dan O'Connor and Johnny, they're the '100% boys', who've done well in all the exams. Mica Paris is just the clown who always says 'I can't do it' then ends up doing really well. She's a diva but in a good way! I'd say Dan is the good looking boy in the gang, definitely. I think he'll do well because girls will love him. He's a good-looking boy and he's dead polite as well."

Who would be your dream passenger to have on a flight?

"I'd probably say a rock band like Whitesnake or someone old school so I could just keep giving them drinks. To be fair, that wouldn't be a good idea. I'd probably end up getting drunk with them."

What would you do if someone was rude to you?

"If anyone was really rude to me I don't know what I'd do. I'd just be like 'you cheeky b***h'. No I wouldn't, I'd keep it a bit more under control. That's one thing I think I will struggle with."

What about passengers who get a bit rowdy?

"As cabin crew, I can't really say what I normally would. I normally say, 'If your d**k's as big as your mouth you better come and see me later,' but I’m not allowed to swear in uniform! I might say 'penis' instead."

Are you a member of the mile high club?

"No. I don't know how anyone could do it in those stinky little toilets. There is no room in there whatsoever. If I had the whole plane to myself and you could use the seats then fair enough, but not the little loo!"

This show cuts from one thing to another so quickly. I think there trying to be american with their reality shows. There were so many camera moves, i couldn't work out what was going on.

And it wasn't that interesting either.

I liked this show but I would of liked to have seen the first show concentrating on the training.
The show moves abit too quickly and the elimination is laughable. Its taken too seriously by the mentors.
but it is a good show I will be watching again but it could be improved on alot.

Shes pregnant. She could probably go on the plane now (as she did yesterday to fly over to Alicante) but in a couple of weeks she won't be allowed to because obviously its filmed over a few months and she'll probably be pretty far gone if she makes it to the later stages

I think you can only fly up to about 15 or 20 weeks or something like that but working on the plane might be too stressful.

It's not the worst show that I've seen, actually quite enjoyed the second episode.Felt it was the wrong decision for them to get rid of Kenzie,sure he was a bit silly during the safety demo but other than that he was doing a good job.I'd have picked Amy to go, her attitude is just starting to annoy me and I don't think she's making much of a contribution on the work side of things.

Its been axed from its 9pm slot on a Tuesday, probably because of the absolutely awful ratings, its gone from 549,000 to 163,000 in the space of a month! Its now on a Thursday at 8pm, its old repeat slot.

They use more than the one plane, its just only one has been painted.

The CelebAir people only serve half a cabin anyway.

I decided to watch the final tonight and I'm glad I did, although I wanted Amy to win. Lisa deserved it, plus her chosen charity was a good one.

Did anyone notice that Lisa and Jonny didn't attend the final? Wonder why. Perhaps they weren't invited back as they broke the rules or maybe they didn't want to as the were angry they were both sacked because of it.#

David and Vanessa played a good part in it.
