Its not surprising it went.
A lot of people started posting loads to get the "most posts of the day" thing.
It also took up a lot of space, especially on Launch Night where there was a huge surge in traffic and stuff.

I hadn't noticed it had gone but it has.

The reason for it being removed would have been as Marcus said to stop people posting rubbish and one line replies to threads in order to become poster of the day.

It was probably removed when we had the bandwidth problem at the end of last month.

I don't know. James or Mark will be able to answer that one when they are on. James might have just forgot to turn it back on when we moved.

It was server intensive, and we turned it off to try and figure out what was causing the site lag problems. Now we are on the new server, we can probably turn it back on soon - need to make sure it's cached first, and James knows more about that than me :blush:

You could get rid of the Who's In The Chat Room one because no one ever uses the chatroom to make space for it.

Yeah, and perhaps add a Cbox at the bottom of the forum to replace it so people still have some sort of Chatbox/room?

I don't mean to get rid of the chat room I jys meant the little box at the end of the forum that says Who's in the chat room.:thumbs:
