I thought I'd post this for Mario Fans who may have missed his interview with Davina last friday. And this is my 500th post, so I had to dedicate it to the Mario board:

See what happened when Mario met Davina...

D: Were you expecting that?

M: It was a tough shot to call. You never know who's gonna win and who's gonna lose.

D: Your Fan Club... where were they?

M: (Laughing) I haven't got a fan club.

D: Who do you think nominated you?

M: Rex, Mohamed... B Block.

Mario and Davina watched the nominations that led to his eviction.

D: Any surprises? Were you surprised Rachel didn't nominate you?

M : Yeah.

D: She loved you. She thought you were a really nice guy.

Mario does not reply.

D: Ricky Gervais is a fan. Any idea why that may be?

M: No...

Mario and Davina watch a clip spoofing 'The Office' in which Mario bears an uncanny resemblance to David Brent.

M: (Laughing) I still can't figure out what you're getting at.

D: What was the deal with the Health and Safety?

M: It was initially about Mikey. I was very passionate about that.

D: How frustrating was it being with younger, less experienced housemates?

M: Not everyone was less experienced... like Rex The Chef.

D: You love Rex.

M: (Laughing) I do. He's on my Christmas Card list.

D: You and Lisa were very physical... you spend your whole life exfoliating..

M: We've got more skins than an onion.

D: Was it hard to get intimate in the House?

M: It was just the puppet shows. They were pretend.

D: It must've been hard.

M: It was hard, yeah.

D: Very hard?

M: (Laughing) That's a leading question...

D: This week, for the first time since you went in, you had a pop at Lisa. Why was that?

M: I'm very protective of her. She washes up and does everything. She doesn't see everything else that's going on.

D: Who do you want to leave next?

M: Belinda. Her heart's in the right place but her snoring isn't,

D: How would you sum up your time in the House?

M: When you walk through those doors it feels amazing. For me, personally... fantastic.

D: Any regrets?

M: No regrets. I did the Health and Safety for Mikey.

D: Mikey was fine without you for years before this.

M: But he hasn't been in the House before.

D: One last question. Mario. Have you ever been to Italy?

M: (Laughing) No.

D: Grazie Mario! Ladies and Gentlemen... Mario!
