I will be flying down to London on May 24th for a special assignment.

Just to let you know if you do not here from me after that date.

I will be away for a while

Meanwhile, I need to arrange cover for the position of prophet of doom. Would anyone like the job ?

Thanks for letting us know you'll be away for a while, Sticks. Have a good flight, and we'll see you when you get back. http://www.plauder-smilies.com/wave.gif

I think I'll pass on your offer of a temporary new job though - I'm quite happy in my 'Admin' role, thank you.

Incidentally, I take it it's just coincidence that you're flying to London on the 24th May ............. or is it? http://www.plauder-smilies.com/sad/confusedpp.gif

If you are thinking what I am thinking Kaz, you should be aware that a certain two ladies might also be travelling south on the old Norton that weekend.

Obviously, they will reveal nothing, but Flossy has been frenzied with activity, trimming the hedge back severely, and putting in hardy perrenials instead of the normal display of Impatiens
and Begonias

Bunty is looking very flushed indeed.

She has invested in a completely new wardrobe of casual, easy care garments , in attractive crimplene. She has apparently informed the League of Friends that she will not man the tombola stall for them at the summer fete.

Tongues are wagging, and although everyone knows Bunty is normally incapable of keeping anything to herself, on this occasion she is keeping herself very much to herself.

Yesterday she called into the newsagents and cancelled her subscription to People's Friend and Woman's Weekly. This is unheard of.

Floss has a very smug and self satisfied look on her face which cannot surely STILL be entirely attributed to the night she spent sharing bed and breakfast accomodation with Paul Clarke.

Something is afoot.

Imagine, Sticks, Floss and Bunty..............

Could they possibly be all heading in the same direction?

Will the programme makers seriously rue the day that they ommitted a love shack from their plans?

Will Splodge get his money's worth out of E4 after all?

The answers to these questions and many more will be revealed very, very soon!

According to Bubble's post on another thread, you will need to be in London on the day before at least, because the final 12 will not be told until a couple of days' before.

I think you should change your tickets for a couple of days earlier.

When I reach Heathrow I am under instructions to take the city link to Reading to meet a particular couple.

If I reveal more I would have to shoot you :nono:

I still need to arrange cover for the position of Prophet of Doom, any takers ?

No you've got that wrong Sticks. It's if you reveal anymore we will have to shoot you!

Now tempting as that may seem sometimes, I believe you are really a sweetie underneath all that bluff, bluster and doom mongering so we'll just let you carry on with your fantasy and don't get lost - remember, it's the third star on the left and straight on till morning! http://thisisbigbrother.com/forum/images/smilies/laugh1.gif

I am flying down to London on 24th May and then on to meet a couple in Reading (The first name of one of them begins with H)

I will then be billeted near the old Roman settlement of Calleva Atrebatum

I have been told I can watch the C4 programme that evening, but theydo not have E4 and according to the Star, you now have to pay to watch BB on the web

Now the serious bit, I need to find someone who will cover the position of Prophet of Doom

"One of which begins with a H"
I know this one! it's Harriet, isn't it???:spin:

Now, I appreciate that I try and fulfill the 'little ray of sunshine' role in most of my contact with other people, but I'm bored and disillusioned with life, and most of all I do love a challenge.

So Sticks, I believe I can fulfill your role beautifully, if you just take a chance and pick me. I would relish the role, and could quite easily depress everybody when they become too happy/excited.

What do you say me ol' matey?

(jumps up and down in anticipation)

On second thoughts, thats not very doomy, is it?

(thoughtfully polishes her sythe, and dusts of her thick black cape. )
Oh, I'm more than ready!!!!

Since no one else has applied, you might as well take over if I am unable to log on while I am away

I still think the old look for prophet of doom has quaint charm, so make sure you get plenty of Brasso for that sythe

Oh no! The picture has a bluey cape - minesall black. :bawling:

Ah well, can't win 'em all! Thanks Sticks luvvy, I'll do you proud! (could I sound any more patronising?)

So, do i just have to report deaths and put a gloomy perspective on everything, or are there any other important duties???

Sticks

You are also required to report on the end of the world, such as the Asteroid DA1950 which is due to impact on 16/3/2880

Death is Still on Sabbatical and we have to answer to his apprentice Mort.

(Between you and me I suspect Mort has kidnapped Death to get his job)

Oh yes playing Devils Advocate is also one of the duties

Lols! Ok, I think I can cope! Do I have to be in direct contact with Mort???

I think he sounds more fun than death.

2880, I'll remember that, where's my diary.......

I need a more satanly name - Anna is just laughable!!!
