Why is this?

You need a Welsh moderator then. I'm actually really insulted.

Who said you're not allowed?

You could become the mod!

The moderators have had a discussion about this. It's unfair on the other members as we cannot moderate what you say.

This is one thing I agree with you on Ross.

They're not. Remy has been told in the past he cannot post in French and he respects this rule. It's something we decided as we cannot moderate such posts.

If you post an English translation it is allowed.

Sorry Lauren if I'm wrong but I'm certain I saw a thread dedicated to french speaking on here before?

That thread was the reason this rule was brought into place, and that's why the previous Welsh thread was told about this rule too.

Woops, I've done it an occasion or two sorry - but I was joking around because I can't speak it either. I thought it was like - hyper basic.

Désolé.

Why would anyone want to speak welsh!? only welsh people understand it, its like a secret language! and the majority of welsh people speak English anyway so what is the point in it.

It's a really difficult language to learn. I tried it once, and gave up after a very short time.

People speak welsh because they could be proud of country, they like the language and are traditionalists. There is nothing wrong in speaking the language.

Its pretty obvious why you cant speak Welsh on here- purely because none of the mods are welsh and you could insult us all.

Stop trying to be Mandela and sticking up for the people and just get over it...
