Charley Is More Remembered Than That Other Guy...

Does anyone else find it interesting that Charley, who was evicted in week 8, is more remembered from last year than... er... one second (quick Google search)... Brian, who actually won the series?

I personally find this amazing! She made more of an impression in 8 weeks than the WINNER of the entire series!

beacuse she is probably the biggest character of BB!
but most of the nation didnt like her!

what i like about her was..she wasnt trying to be a BB legend, which kinda made her...

but still the nation vvoted brian to win!
and i do think we all remeber both of them!

Very happy you agree with me. It's a shame the public couldn't recognize how entertaining and lovable Charley was and at least keep her in there until the final.

so thats got to be good! i knew she wasnt going to be in the final though! it was kinda obvius!

but that night..i still remebe...i liked her..but realy wanted her to go..cuz it would get to much on her!
and i can understand why people didnt like her!

but at least charley aint the most hated HM ever! ;)

Thats the way it always is, the most memorable characters never win because there memorable for a reason - that some poeple like and others don't there fore they can't win!

Look at the history:

BB3 - Jade, Alex
BB5 - Victor, Michelle
BB6 - Kemal, Makosi
BB7 - Nikki, Aisleyne

Although to be fair, Nadia was as memorable as all the others, but thats only because BB5 had a very diverse group of housemates.

The surprising thing to me is that now, a year later, I'm finding a lot of people all over the Internet who loved Charley, but when the show was actually on, I was the only one defending her. I don't really understand that. But you can't deny that when you think of BB8, you think of Charley. You don't think of Brian, not the twins, not even Ziggy, not even Chanelle. You think of Charley. She's the housemate who automatically comes to mind, and that's saying a lot.

I'd think of the twins, but thats probably down to the fact that they had a media career after BB, so they're still around and therfore are the most fresh in my mind.

i think what put BB8 down was, because they only had one big character, charley.

but i think cuz on the internet..these people are big fans...that why they are still supporting her...
its the general public who watch the show and voted!

i was realy annoyed too when charley was getting evicted!
i loved her when she was walking out that house!
because she is a MASSIVE character..not TRYING to be...
she just is....
it actually shows how big the gap was when charley left!
i actually think BB8 had the wrong types of people!
they should have put at least someone to equal charley's qualities!
it was almost as though they just picked random people!
to me..the twins was a let down... i did like them...but i thought they would be a bigger character than they were!

I disagree.

For people like Charley... the hate circus (i.e. Media) surrounding her was more memorable than her behaviour.

Same with Alex this year. The infamy and hate surrounding her is what I'll personally remember, rather than her individually.

I think it's because no one really liked her and she caused alot of trouble in their and she had more press coverage for the wrong reasons though.
