Rant!

Sorry for the rant.
But this is REALLY starting to annoy me.

I've been in debates with at least three other members about housemates in the house, and they've used the fact I'm a Dennis fan to disregard my argument.

WHY DOES IT MATTER IF I'M A DENNIS FAN?
I CAN SUPPORT WHO I WANT?
HE ISN'T EVEN IN THE HOUSE ANYMORE.
STOP. BRINGING. HIM. INTO. ARGUMENTS. THAT. DON'T. CONCERN. HIM.

I've seen this happen for about a week now, twice today.
Who I support has no relation to what I'm like, or how you should judge me, or my opinions.
I don't slag off your opinions because you like Darnell, or Mohamed, or Luke; so why disregard mine if I like Dennis?

He's not in the house anymore.
Stop using that against me.
I'm sick and tired of making an opinion
and being told it can't be taken seriously, or it being dismissed.
because I'm a Dennis fan.
SO. fricken. what.

I can support/like whatever housemate I like, regardless of their status/actions. I have my reasons, end of.

It's really starting to get to me that I can't have an opinion anymore because they're not being taken seriously, or being dismissed.

Again; sorry for the rant.
I've had several people do this to me over the past week or so.
&Feel it should be brought to attention.

No but in all honesty, people really should not bring whoever you support into an argument, I remember when people went on a karma craze and kept reducing members karma because they supported certain housemates.

It's so pathetic that people would do that over a TV show. I don't dare enter the BB9 Section unless I'm in the mood to argue, because thats what its become.

I feel a lot better knowing that other members have seen/noticed it, and understand where I'm coming from.

I'm up for a good debate but I hate just not being taken seriously because of who I support?

I personally can't understand why people attach themselves so closely to the most inept bunch of sorry ar*ses currently breathing the same air as far more intelligent and entertaing species such as bluebottle flys and stick insects.

Good for you Darren, it was a rant fully justified even though I found Dennis to be nothing more than a common thug, and one of the vilest excuses of a human being Ive seen in my entire life.

Supporting Dennis is irrelevant to this thread. Darren is talking about members being treated differently because they support certain housemates, only because Dennis did wrong and Darren still supports him as a housemates, that's no reason for a member not to be taken seriously while participating in a debate.

Being a fan of Jade Goody, I know exactly how you feel. People think someone does something bad or displays a certain trait and suddenly you can't like them anymore. Its not that simple.

I think the people who make personal remarks towards people because of who they support is a bit sad. You can always just flip it around on to them but thats if you want to drop to their (personal) level.
