This is the nature of the show. When someone goes into the Big Brother house, they put their entire personality up for public scrutiny. I have no problems with Luke finding fault with people's personality, but he is talking absolute gibberish about people that bear no resemblance to what they are like.

He is engaging on character assassinations. For whatever reason, I don't know. He can be comical with it, but it doesn't make him any less of an eejit.

1. Rachel's got more smug in her little finger than Luke.
2. It's called jokey banter. He's actually shown great loyalty to his friends...he hasn't dropped any of them.
3. Everyone lies.
4. He was ill from Saturday night to Thursday. He fell ill before the task was even known and he felt better after recieving medication. Medication does that...it makes you feel better. He was seen by a doctor and Big Brother excluded Luke from the task, not himself.
5. It's only vindictive if it isn't true.
6. I appear to have missed when he was the only person in the house to have done that.
7. Withering at your own efforts isn't smirking. You gotta laugh, ain't ya?!
8. Conversations tend to go like that. You ask stuff, you say stuff, you discuss stuff. Some of it you agree with, some you don't and sometimes you discuss it away from the person.
9. Luke was actually really good with Mikey last week when the house was divided, taking him round and describing the different layout for him. He does have moments when shows some concern and clearly cares but it's not often shown.


How many people with driving licences complain about Lewis Hamilton's driving? That doesn't work at all as an analogy.

Completely. He's not like Darnell or Mohamed, goading people or aggressively swearing in housemates faces. People seem to miss the little sweet things he does.

Last night he was really upset about Bex's eviction, laying in his bed in tears, but still thought to ask Maysoon if she'd taken her vitamins to make sure she was alright.

During the whole Bex/Mo kiss aftermath, even though he felt gutted about the situation he still tried to make it happen for Bex to not feel bad. He was telling her not to worry about how he felt and that he wanted her to have a good night. He could've gone off in a silent huff, but instead stayed to make sure she was ok.

The mark of a good person is someone who makes sure other people are ok even when they're feeling at their worst.

Thing is though, a great deal of what he says about other housemates has largely turned out to be true. Sure, there's been occasions when he's misinterpreted something or got the wrong end of the stick, but in general his observations about certain housemates are spot on.

My suggestion was that by your definition of vindictive - saying something disparaging about someone - in turn means that you and many other members of this forum are also vindictive with your own words.

My point is, what are people complaining about in regard to Luke's behaviour in the house when this forum is full of examples of the same thing, if not actually worse in some cases.
