BOOKIES’ favourite Kat could be kicked out after fans went BANANAS yesterday about her breaking house rules.
The Cookie Monster and tubby accomplice Mo pinched bananas during the Hanging Around task.
Big Brother initially ordered them to pack their bags — but soft-hearted bosses had a change of mind after Kat’s sobbing apology, and allowed the pair to stay.
But the let-off provoked a blizzard of protests on the Channel Four show’s message boards — with fans demanding that both housemates be handed their marching orders.
Thai masseuse Kat, 30, who is 2/1 favourite to win the £100,000 prize, saved their skin after scurrying over to the Diary Room and begging bosses to let her stay. Tearful Kat told Big Brother: “I am very, very sorry about what I did. I didn’t mean to do a serious offence. If I apologise, will you forgive me please?”
She added: “If I have to go, I will be sad. If Mohamed has to go because of me it will break my heart even more.” The cheating pair — who had defied BB orders and crossed the Heaven and Hell divide during the monkey-themed task — were given 30 minutes to pack, but after being left to stew they were handed a last-minute reprieve.
Now angry fans want the show to start taking rule-breaking seriously. One post read: “Mo and Kat, bye, bye. Kick both out. Simple, don’t do the crime if you can’t do the time.”
One mis-spelled comment dubs the pair “gilty on both counts” and another demands: “Please kick Kat out.”
A sniping viewer wrote: “If it was anyone else Big Brother would take them out of the house for doing that.” A Big Brother spokesman said: “Kat and Mo still haven’t had their cases returned to them but we’re not planning to evict them at the moment.
“They’ve broken a minor rule, but we hope they’ve learned their lesson.”
