For this week's shopping task, housemates will have to withstand the test of time.

The task will take the form of five separate challenges.

Heavenly housemates will face two challenges. Housemates from hell will also face two challenges and the Big Brother house as a whole will face one group challenge.

As Head of House, Dale will decide which housemates perform which challenges. The Head of House must oversee all challenges, but must not take part in any of them. This week's shopping task will take place today and tomorrow.

In order to pass this week's shopping task, housemates must pass three out of the five challenges.

If housemates pass three or more challenges they will receive a luxury food budget of five pounds per head per day.

If Housemates fail three or more challenges, they will receive a basic shopping budget of one pound per head per day.

CLOCK MAKING CHALLENGE
Two heavenly housemates will have to construct a giant pocket watch with the cogs, wheels and turny-roundy things provided. These two housemates will have a limited period of time in which to construct the watch.

ARCHEOLOGICAL DIG
Three heavenly housemates will take part in an archaeological dig to unravel the mysteries of time. These three housemates will have to date the historical objects that they unearth on the dig.

HUMAN CLOCK
All Housemates, other than the Head of House, must become a human clock. Each housemate must stand in a circle, with each housemate representing one number on a clock. Housemates must then keep time, in their heads, for one hour.

ALARM CHALLENGE
All housemates from hell will take part in the alarm challenge. The task room will contain a number of clocks. The alarm on some of the clocks will go off intermittently, over the course of the next two days. When an alarm goes off, one housemate from hell should enter the task room and turn off the alarm on the corresponding clock. Housemates from hell must locate the correct clock and turn off its alarm within a set time.

EGG TIMER CHALLENGE
All housemates from hell will take part in the Egg Timer challenge. Over the course of the next two days, housemates from hell will be responsible for keeping the sands of time flowing in a giant egg timer. Sand will flow out of the timer continually, and therefore the housemates from hell must keep refilling the timer with sand to ensure that the timer is never bereft of sand.

They have started with the alarm clocks part of task, and filling the timer with sand, those are ongoing tasks over two days I think. Mikey will be good on the alarm tasks, his hearing is sharp, good for when more than one alarm going off.

Ive been reading on the WHATM on DS and Stu seems the only one that is noticing when people are over time. Apparently FMs said that if he says it in time, then they will pass. How does that work?

I think it means, well they cannot go over 60 mins by a certain time or be under 60 mins by a certain time...so the other housemates can be a bit over but it all adds up so stuart has the hard job by trying to be exactly right... (:

Task is nearly over on live feed....

I'm sure I saw her mouthing her counting after it had moved onto Rachel(?) and noticed she was counting like how she talks. So in her head she must have been going, '...twenty-oooone, twenty-twooooo, twenty-threeee, twenty-fooour...' and so on.

No wonder she went over time.
