I was just on the C4 site looking for the voting lines for my site and it seems that the Irish voting lines have been suspended!

It's a scientific fact that all Irish people love Rebecca and hate Mohamed!
Err...honest! :laugh2:

I don't think it'll make a big difference at all...
The irish phone lines aren't advertised here at all, it's still the UK ones that come up at the end... you've to try and find them on the Channel 4 website to vote... I doubt many people bother.

imagine some1 irish was up this week, trhere would be an outcry, like if orlaith or seany were up,and the irish vote was suspended, well i shouldnt really say seany as he was abit of an embaressment to us :( he went the 1st time he was but orlaith surivived 3 in a row;)

Yeah but at the same time it's a quarter of the votes. Well almost.
dylissimo

WHAT? Do one quarter votes come from ROI... I seriously doubt that.

Aren't you, Orlaith, and Seany from Northern Ireland, therefore British?

It's all the one really, all Irish people will still support someone if they're from NI.

That's a bit of a generalization.

Both Seany and Orlaith and Seany were from Northern Ireland there fore British. So they can use the British phone lines.

When ever an Irish or Northern Irish housemate is nominated, they usually advertise the ROI numbers. Other then that, they are never mentioned.

Ditto to that. I consider Northern Irish people British. And I support housemates on themselves, not where they're from.

Well I just meant Irish or N. Irish, makes no difference.
And yeah the irish lines are NEVER advertised... took me ages to try and find them on Ch4.com today only to find out they're closed... I doubt the Irish vote counts for much.

Yes according to Channel 4 website.
[quote]Republic of Ireland Vote Update
Regrettably Channel 4 is not in a position to open the Republic of Ireland vote this week. We are still working with our Service Provider to resolve the issues we encountered on Belinda's vote line in week 6.
We will not reopen Republic of Ireland voting until we are confident that this issue can not occur again.
Our apologies for the inconvenience caused to Republic of Ireland voters.[/quote
