Luke enters the Diary Room to discuss his trysts...

Following Luke and Rebecca's third nocturnal snog, the unlikely Romeo has been to the Diary Room this morning to spill the beans - and like us, he seems to be pretty confused about it.

Sitting himself down in the big chair, Luke looked very cheerful. "I had another interesting night," he announced. "Rebecca and I may have had another, er, MOMENT last night, as you probably saw, and I'm not sure why this keeps happening."

"The first time it was a drunken mistake on Rebecca's part, and I was emotional at the thought of Rebecca leaving. The second time it was, y'know, the spirit of Heaven etcetera. The third time..." He paused thoughtfully. "Well, I was emotional again, because obviously the thought of losing Rebecca this Friday is just not a nice thing."

"I'm not even attracted to the girl, and she's not attracted to me, but... it just keeps happening."

Big Brother wasn't going to let him get away with that. "Is there no attraction there at all?"

Luke looked confused. "Well... I don't know... On the outside, Big Brother, I would never go for a girl like Rebecca. I mean she is... not my type at all," he said tactfully. "But I suppose the more you spend time with someone...I don't know... Maybe?! I'm becoming very confused about the situation."

"Is it affecting your friendship with Rebecca?" asked Big Brother.

"No, that's the weird thing!" replied Luke. "It's almost as if there's two sets of Luke and Rebecca. There's the daytime set of Luke and Rebecca - we're really good friends during the day. I have banter with Rebecca - she'll insult me, I'll insult her. Then at night-time it's almost like the emotional side comes out. We talk about our feelings and... I don't know!"

"The more... we... I can't even say it," hesitated Luke. "The more we... KISS, the more I... become confused."

Sounds like Luke is being genuine for once, I can understand why he is so confused. And it proves its not all for show and that real feelings are involved.

Aww, I completely knew it was genuine.

And he's said something I had already observed. During the day they're like little monsters to each other but when the lights are out and they're in bed together they act completely differently. I think I can see why, though.

During the day, or at night while the lights are still on, the other housemates are there. Luke & Bex are entirely conscious of their presence. But when everyone's gone to bed and it's dark and they're whispering to each other out of everyone's earshot they can properly say how they feel about each other and that's what leads to them kissing. In those moments they feel safe and in their own little world. It really is the only time and place in the whole house that they feel alone together.

You have to remember, while the other housemates are aware they've kissed they haven't actually seen them kiss. They rib Luke & Bex mercilessly about their relationship, but if they were actually properly aware what they're like together in the early hours they'd realise just how incredibly sweet the whole thing is. They're actually being quite discreet about it, unlike some previous housemates.

i knew they were going to kiss once they hear rebecca is up for eviction!

wether its genuine or not (which i doubt)
it still looks air time! they could have hiden under
the duvet and had a "mhwa"
but they were lying on bed snoging!

the guy observes things a lot..wierd gettting confused on that O.o?

I dont really know what to think anymore about it, at first I was like oh yeah just to keep her in and then they seem to be getting closer. I think that she is personally using him as she is nothing anymore without him. If he was up this week, and he went - she would be finished.

I think he is getting lead astray and its upsetting to watch if you know its going to happen cos he still has feelings and she is sitting on them and squashing them until he doesnt know what is there anymore.

They kissed in the early hours of Monday morning...BEFORE nominations had even taken place. It wasn't mentioned on BBLB and wasn't shown on the highlights show.

They kissed again, for much longer, in the early hours of this morning...AFTER nominations had been announced, BBLB showed it and it'll probably be on tonight's highlights.

I knew it was genuine, even during their "day set" rofl, the way they look at eachother, and tease one another is obvious! It's so cute.
So that tells all the people that doubting them etc...
Plus it wasn't like it was one snog, Bex kept goin back for more lmao.
It's just, Bex and Luke kiss, when no other housemates are around, or awake.. Where as in the past housemates have been all over eachother, in front of the whole house. Which leads me to believe its more genuine.

On live feed last night it was highlighted just how little the other housemates are aware of Luke and Bex's relationship.

They were all around the dinner table when Bex was saying how Big Brother had questioned her in the diary room about her relationship with Luke. Lisa was saying how they want to make something out of it just because they share a bed and just trying to show they're a couple. Stuart then said how they muck about with each other but haven't done anything with each other since the other week, at which point Luke and Bex gave each other coy looks and didn't correct him.

The other housemates are actually quite oblivious to what's actually going on between them. Even those who share a bedroom with them don't know the full extent of their relationship. And if you think about, even we don't know either because while we see them kissing we don't actually know what they're saying to each other under the covers.

The viewer KNOWS what it's about, It's called Air Time or AT as the "lovers" coyly term it!
