Spell or Say.

I can never spell "Minute" for instance. Never get it right, If i didnt have spell checker none of you would know what im saying. What words can't you say and what words can you never spell?

My sister cant say "Icing" for instance she always says "Icining" for some bizarre reason and a friend of mine can never say "Caterpillar" she says "Capapilla"

Completley and rididculously

And they're probably(ooh there's another one I have trouble with) spelt wrong! Actually I used to have a huge problem with the difference between slept and spelt. I did English grinds which helped out my spelling a lot. I had speech therapy when I was younger as well.

I sometimes stumble on R's and W's, where the words begin with those letters.... a sentence like "a rare white wild rabbit was raring wildly"... sometimes I get my tongue in a knot over those

I used to misspell 'definitely' all the time, until someone told me just to remember it has FINITE in, and now it's easy to remember.

At GCSE, I used to have a problem with tomorrow, apologise, desperate and independence.

If I think about spelling too much, even of simple words, I end up convincing myself of believing in the wrong spelling or not being able to spell it at all or even pronounce it.

If I try saying it quickly or without thinking, I sometimes have trouble saying 'hydrogen'

I know it's not a common word you'd just come out with :laugh3:

So most of the time, I'm ok!

I can't say ignorant, I say "igronant" instead

Also, despite "i before e except after c but only if it rhymes with bee" I still can't spell ceiling without a spell checker.

I can't say Alcohol
i always seem to say alcowhol lulz.
But i've noticed most people with a Wigan accent say it like that naturally.
Also the Bearrr thing like Luke.
My accent just makes me say words in a so called "incorrect way"

Our English teacher banned us from using that word! No-one could ever spell it right
