Can someone explain the odds system? I have NEVER bet before on anything, and I don't know what the difference is between 1/3 and 3/1.

3/1 = put £1 bet on, win £3 + £1 original bet back
1/3 = put £3 bet on, win £1 + £3 original bet back

So in the first, you're making a £3 profit, but at 1/3, you only make a £1 profit. Sometimes evictions are so certain, such as Jennifer, than it's at 1/50, meaning if you put £50 on, you make just a £1 profit, meaning if you put £1 on, you'd make just a 2p profit!
