Thai dye brideCOOKIE-munching Kathreya Kasisopa has a secret ex-husband nearly 30 YEARS her senior, The Sun can reveal.
Malcolm Burton, 58, met the pint-sized Thai lass when she was just 22, a few months after she moved to Britain.
But Kat, 30 — now engaged to another fella — was so embarrassed by his grey hair that she sneakily dyed it on the eve of their wedding.
Paramedic Malcolm, who married Kat in June 2002, revealed: “The night before our wedding I was in the bath and she came in and offered to give me a head massage.
“I suddenly realised she was dying my hair black for the big day. When I tried to stop her she held me down and said she did not want to walk down the aisle with an old grey man.”
Their marriage lasted just two years after they drifted apart as she partied in London’s clubs and he stayed at home. Malcolm, from Harrow, revealed: “I first cast eyes on her when she was helping out her uncle in his local Thai restaurant after she came to the country to study English.
“At the time I was living with my elderly mum and we’d often go to there for a meal. Kat used to serve me and was so funny — the way she mispronounced her English and turned that into humour. She was such an eccentric but charming girl.”
But the restaurant started struggling so Malcolm offered Kat a part-time job looking after his mother in the family home.
He recalled: “I don’t know how or why it happened, but I ended up taking her out to dinner and nature took its course.”
Malcolm put up with ribbing from his pals and jibes that Kat was just using him to get a visa. But he insisted: “I would not have gone through a marriage if there was one inkling that all this girl was after was a passport or money.
“Our relationship was the most beautiful experience that a man could ever have. She was brilliant company and a hilarious host.”
The pair split up after his idea of entertainment was two pints down the local, while Kat loved clubbing.
The pair remain firm friends — and Malcolm still treasures the last birthday card Kat sent him.
He said that his ex-wife told him a few months before Big Brother started that she was going into the house.
Malcolm said: “If anyone deserves to win, it’s her. She has more charisma in her fingernail than most of the guys and girls have in their bodies. She is going to be a great success.”
