Come on admit it
Women hat women
The main demographic of people who watch are young and female, hence Young Enamoured Females, who want to drool over the guys and would cheerfully send packing anyone without a Y chromosome
Come on
Admit it

the way votes tend to go over a number of series of Big Brother, just seemed to indicate that.

What hunks? I agree in some ways, but Dale is hardly a hunk, he is a wimp, Stu has the body, but brians of poo, Rex is sexy, but hardly a hunk either.

I mentioned this thesis some years ago, I thought it was about time I called their bluff.

Ever thought it might be actually down to most of the female housemates being bitchy?

Sticks...you are 100% right. The women don't stand a chance in BB.

I appreciate you having a theory, but the way you went about the "blame game" really came across as offensive, at least to me.
However; in response to your theory... I believe it's down to the general psychology of women not working in the house conditions.
I posted this in another thread.
Typical male traits include passiveness yet competitiveness, whereas female traits include bitchiness and a focus on relationships/friendships. Neither of these are bad are good, but in the closed-off house environment can be viewed as bad - and in this case the typical female traits don't bode well.
Each of the females that have been evicted, I've known many men who disliked them.
Plus the way you make it seem like women have no free will- extremely offensive.

It's happened for about 9 seasons now, so I'd say the YEF vote is undeniable. But I also think it has to do with the casting...whoever's working up there likes to cast attractive relateable males and charismatic gay men. Meanwhile, the girls are either bitches, bland, or mentally insane.

It's partly because the female housemates generally make more money and get more media coverage off the back of BB than the men so the public thinks the male housemates need to win more.

To be fair, Sticks - Rebecca was against Darnell and Mohamed. They're hardly hunks.

My two favourites are rachel and Kat and I'm female. Typically my favourites are female.

But they are male
Anyway
Think of last year, the twins were supposedly odds on favourite to win, and were seen as the girls from next door, and they did nit receive a single nomination.
Brian still won
Brian is male
Apart from Kate Lawler in the normal Big Brother the winner is born as a male. (Nadia is a special case, he was born a male and that vote was seen as the PC choice)

One other factor that needs to be born in mind, is that the demographic of the majority are at the age when they get passionate about certain causes. There is a term I heard from way back called "Ginger groups", usually some form of environmental group.
If you look at the people who are in these groups a large majority of them are of a certain age, and as they are yet to be encumbered with much responsibilities they are more likely active in some form of direct action.
Translating this to the young female viewers of BB, they will be very passionate about males they percieve as desirable and the passionate about hating the females. As Shaun has observed, there may be some envy in there, so Young Envious Females is reasonable guess. I chose enamoured, from the archaic use where someone has been put under a magic spell, to indicate an obsession. This will mean that the YEF's are more likely to put an eviction number on to speed dial, than any other socio-economic group, which therefore will skew the voting
Hence Rachel will most likely walk this Friday.

Not true. Im a woman and i want Stu out tis week and Racheal to go all the way. I also wanted Mario out in the first week and Steph to stay. I didnt like Jen, Sylvia or Bex but its not because they are woman but because i couldn't stand their personalities. Just like the reason that i wanted Mario and Luke out was because i couldnt stand them either.
In fact in past series of BB my fav's have usually been women i.e. Kate, Helen, Nicky, Samanda.
