Aside from all the clever arse replies, are you a different person to what you was a year ago (personality wise).

Have to say, I am. This time last year I was in need of a good slap, I needed to grow up and just basically get over myself. This year I've matured a hell of a lot and I'm a lot more grounded than I was.

Extremely.

This time last year I was dependent, shy, nervous, fearful. Just applying to University to live away from home for the first time, and be independent to make my own friends and my own life. :pat:

And now, I'm the actual opposite.

Very much different, but I hope better for it too.

I'm so glad I found this place for starters, thats made such a nice change in the last quarter of the last year, where things could have been so different, without the special members here.

I am so different - last year I just came out of a 3 year relationship, moved back in with my parents, had lost all my friends from being in a relationship, had just started a new job and just was at an all time low.

Over this year, i have gained new friends and matured, learnt how to manage money again and enjoyed myself, this made my character come back to me and made me realise how special my friends and family are.

I think that you need some bad in your life to make you realise how good the good things are when they come or you just dont appreciate them.

Not extremley different but i am a bit different. Im not as shy around new people anymore and i enjoy debates alot more now lol. Im not as scared about showing my veiws on things as i was before. One bad thing ive noticed about myself though is that ive become alot more fustrated but i think thats because of my life at home so it cant be helped i suppose lol x

I'd say I have changed quite a bit since last year.

I am now capable of putting more and more people to shame with my intelligence, but I know when to stop. I have a different kind of hairstyle where it's all spiked up which probably makes me even better looking. I am less selfish and more ambitious than ever before.

Me and my friends tend to have less of the petty arguments - and of course not being in education now is a big difference. I'd say I was a lot less naive, too.

Not at all.
I think a few things changed in my life but I am still the same: arrogant party boy who likes night club, money and sex. I still have the same state of mind, I may feel a bit more mature but that's it.

Yes. I use to depend on everyone, my parents, my (ex)boyfriend, my friends, etc. for stupid things that I could of done myself. I use to be scared to do things by myself. My friends depend on me now, I'm more confident, I just got a tan and I still depend on my parents for money but definitely not as much.

Yes, I seem to put my opinions across to people a lot more, and tell people what I think, whereas last year I would have just kept quiet, and then regretted not saying anything later. I have a new set of friends to last year, who have gave me more confidence, and I have gone to new places and met new people. I now do things that I want to do, rather than to just make other people happy.
Im more myself now, and don't really care as much what people think of me.
I wear clothes I want to wear now, not just the stuff that I guess i fit to wearing, cos of the piercings and stuff. :hello: so ive changed loads really
