why has everyone turned their karma of?

ive been wanting to give people karma for some time now!
but nobody has theirs turned on!

because some loner keeps minusing good members for some reason..

heres how mine went.... +11,10,9,8,7,6. and that was in a time scale of one week.

For me; because it causes arguments, and I don't feel the need to be told whether my post is bad or good. I managed fine on the forum when it wasn't implemented and it doesn't leave me feeling ripped off if someone takes it unfairly. Plus, in all honesty - as long as I'm within rules and civil I don't really care what people think of my posts, LOL.

Because some idiots keep going round reducing people's karma for no reason, plus I find it just a generally pointless addition to the board.

LOL, yep, I'm going through that tease zone I get to 20 then plummet to 17, slowly come back only to hit 17 again , its quite funny so I wont be switching off untill I go minus then I'll just start shooting people witha cannon:joker::spin:

I hate karma, almost every post is a good post cause it has everyone's view in it so therefore its not good to always rate everyone with good karma, then one person disagrees and loses all there karma in one day as said.

Suppose people just dont find it important, i really dont care about it too much, the only time i would turn it off is if i ever went minus. I wouldn't want people to think i was a bad poster... but I like watching mine go up, gives me a good feeling and that someone is enjoying my posts.

I just saw it as an unfair system, some just take karma away to spite you or because you don't share the same views on housemates,even if you've got perfectly good reason.
