Anyone do the IQ test on Test The Nation last night?
I wonder how BB fanatics comapre to the rest of the nation?
I really wanted to wath this but I complettely forgot. :bawling:
I know Mark was doing the test online. What was it like?
:flower:
They sent me my results and I got an IQ of 133.....
What they don't tell you is if that is a good IQ or a bad IQ.......
I presume over 100 is good though!
I think you can still do the test online somewhere - Ill see if I can get the URL and I will post it up here..

I got 118 which Im am quite pleased with!
133 is very good! The highest in the studio was 137 and the highest online was 149!
I m pleased with mine though! I only got
15 wrong out of 70!
I think you need to go to -
http://www.bbc.co.uk/testthenation/test.shtml
to do the test!
In the studios the celebrities average ws 97!! One celebrity bloke got 126, so imagine how low some of them must hav been to drag the average down to 97!!! Tommy Walsh got 98 and Jayne Middlemiss got 100, so who was letting the side down?

I done mine at home, got a score of 140 surprised myself not bad for guessing. When doing a proper Mensa test on- line they asked me was I having bad day and did I want another go. I declined incase it came out worse the second time:elephant::elephant::dance::dance:

I did a mensa test online as well and it said 'you scored 20 out of 30, that is a very good score, you would have a good chance of passing the mensa test!'
Think it must hav been a fluke!
140! From guessing! U cant have been guessing all those! How many questions did U get right Monie?

So I guess my IQ is 0 because I must have typed my e-mail address in wrong!!

Hmmmm. I don't know about all these tests.
I got 118 on test the nation, but on another approved internet test, I got 133. Now, I would really like to accept the 133 - makes me sound much brighter!
But I don't know which is right (if any) so I guess they are just a bit of fun.....
My maths teacher was proud though - cos I got them all right, however I did do badly on the perspectivy ones!!!!

Ooh I got 118 too! Except I hated the maths ones! Well the number sequences anyway, the others werent too bad I spose!
What kinda Q's were the perspective ones?
I did a test online that said I'd have a good chance of passing the mensa test, so god knows wot the truth is!

Did I say perspective???:conf: I did!
Sorry, I wasn't concentrating, it was supposed to read 'perception' (the ones at the end with the wheelbarrows and the water pressure etc ) - though I could do the shapes bit!! :spin2:
I think the truth is we are both just incredibly bright Princess!

Ok, I did the test again and got the results this time ....... 119!
I couldn't do the perception ones either - all that stuff about water flowing, things falling out of aeroplanes and the like, I just didn't have a clue.
And I think I would have been better on the maths if I was about 11 and still doing mental arithmetic - though I think you are supposed to be able to "tell" the answer from the given options without having to work everything out.

Yeah U round up or down the numbers to numbers which are easier to work out, so then you get an estimate and can pick ths closest 1! Thats wot I did anyway! Bu then I only got 118 which although above average seems to be waaay below average on here!
One thing that really annoyed me was that they bloke therung up was supppsoed to have an IQ of 149, but in my age category you could only go as high as 138!!!! Seems a bit unfair!

What I found weird was the fact that if my age was 20-30, my IQ would be lower, but if i was over 30 then it would be higher, and...:conf: Argh! the confusion!
I guess it is just meant to be a quotient though.....
