- A de cluttered, simple studio. There's to much happening in BB9's
Only 1 set left to go before were inside the new house!! :hello:

The orange really makes it work because it adds the needed colour

bigbr0ther
08-08-2008, 05:56 AM
I do like it, but it doesn't seem like there's much of a long walk way from the door to the stage; most of the walk way would not be used on eviction nights. Also I prefer having the door off the ground.

- The audience has been removed.
- The control centre is located behind the BBLB news desk.

Hey Conor, you done any graphics for your eye?
Brekkie
13-08-2008, 04:57 PM
Good work as always Conor, though I do find the BBLB and Big Mouth studios a bit dark. I guess though once filled with people that would be much less of an issue.
And I do like what you've done outside the house too, though they should never ever ever return to interviewing the evictees outside IMO, or indeed announcing them there. I've loved having the announcements back in the studio this year - only thing I don't like is the poor connection between the studio and the crowd.
Great Work Conor!

Come on with those pics! Your such a tease!
Conor

Kitchen:
http://i34.tinypic.com/f1gnqw.jpg
http://i36.tinypic.com/znls02.jpg
http://i35.tinypic.com/2z5qj3s.jpg
http://i35.tinypic.com/20t2r1w.jpg
http://i38.tinypic.com/qs1bnn.jpg
Points:
- The kitchen is extremely small purposely with limited storage space, a small sink and a larder type store room. Most food will have to be prepared on the dining table.
However, as this years theme is 'Don't judge a book by it's cover' it might be better to keep guessing where a larger kitchen could be, and it might be closer and more obvious than you think...
Spike
10-09-2008, 07:15 PM
The Kitchen is very different. I don't know if I love it or hate it
I would like it more if it had some more colour in it

10-09-2008, 07:15 PM

10-09-2008, 07:38 PM
It looks good, but it doesn't seem very Big Brothery to me...I don't think there's enough colour (although if the rest of the house is colourful, I doubt it matters)
JOSHUAH!
10-09-2008, 08:00 PM
I love it, I actually really do like it - I'd probably replace the wall with the shadowed hands on to a colour like Cyan! or yellow, just an attention drawing colour?
But I do love the wood walls - I liked that effect in the BB9 house this year in the kitchen area.
Daniel__
10-09-2008, 08:04 PM
I love it. The kitchen is amazing! Well done
Conor
10-09-2008, 08:31 PM
Thanks everyone :)
I'm suppose I kinda started with the blandest area of the house first lol but the rest of the house is either bright pink, lime green, bright blue, orange or yellow.
Loukas
10-09-2008, 08:36 PM
It's nice and modern! Really like it! But i hope the rest of the house has a burst of colour in it
It's very unique, but I agree with the previous comments that it's not very Big Brothery, and that's probably because of the lack of colour. I'm not a huge fan of the arm/hand wall covering either.
I think you've done better kitchens before.
BexButNotCovBex
11-09-2008, 04:00 PM
Good designs.
Brekkie
11-09-2008, 05:46 PM
Not being very Big Brothery isn't a problem as far as I'm concerned - it would be great to have a house that didn't look like a Big Brother house.
I agree with Spike though - not sure whether I love it or hate it.
Conor
11-09-2008, 06:00 PM
Thanks guys ;) I guess it's a good job I did make another kitchen then lol
The sofas:
http://i34.tinypic.com/eq9p2t.jpg
http://i38.tinypic.com/10wmb9d.jpg
http://i33.tinypic.com/zybw9f.jpg
http://i35.tinypic.com/5dkrde.jpg
http://i38.tinypic.com/15wb2ol.jpg
http://i34.tinypic.com/zy6dr4.jpg
Points:
- The sofa's can comfortably sit 12 people with one more on the orange chair.
- It's the houses centre point, sandwiched between the Dining area, Bedroom, Bathroom and Garden.
- It's literally beside the Diary room entrance.
Shaun
11-09-2008, 06:03 PM
I LOVE the sofas. And the kitchen's sexy too.
That looks brilliant! :)
I would say get rid of the splats on the wall though - they look terribly out of place (unless it's a recurring theme in the house?)
Also, I'd say the sofas could be a tad more colourful, but that's just me nitpicking really.
It's certainly streets ahead of the kitchen. Well done!
dupin
11-09-2008, 06:26 PM
It seems pretty cool...some of the things seem a bit weird, and the house seems TINY, but it's really good.
Brekkie
11-09-2008, 06:40 PM
More clear in my opinion on the sofas - I'm having flashbacks to BB4! Don't like - sorry.
Spike
11-09-2008, 06:40 PM
It looks great
I would of like to have seen the sofas with more colour and I agree with Matt the splats on the wall do look out of place
Glenn.

27-09-2008, 01:39 PM
I'm not sure about this house- some of the individual bits are really good, but all together, something seems really strange about it. I think it's defintely too small as well, there's no rooms for tasks or for 12+ people. Maybe it's just the pictures making it seem smaller
Spike
27-09-2008, 01:56 PM
I don't know if I like the dining area or not

Brekkie: I'll be posting some wide shots of the whole living area after I've posted the garden and Bedroom pics.
Dupin: The house is between BB8 - BB5 sized. Hopefully the wider shots will show of the proper size. There's also a pretty big garden and special room just for tasks. (Which I'll post pics of soon)
Apart from that, thanks everyone for leaving comments :)

Points:
- The garden is roughly BB5 sized.
- There is plenty of seating, but not very many sun loungers.
- There are doors to the main house and a toilet
- The garden is looked over by the not so private bathroom.
Kevin
01-10-2008, 04:11 PM
The garden is just AMAZING. Well done Conor!!
Brekkie
01-10-2008, 07:07 PM
The garden is much better and kind of makes sense of the house now.
Only thing I'm not too sure on are the white walls with the pool/smoking area logos - but apart from that everything is great. Bathroom and pool especially looks great, and even though it's a bit on the small side, the space seems to work.
Spike

Points:
- Stage a permanent outdoor fixture
- Door levelled to ground, and the staircase removed
- Bigger crowd space
- Longer walkway to make viewing more interesting
Up next is the BBBM studio :)

Oh come on already!!!! Anymore pics? Its been ages since the last update.
I think Conor's maybe forgotten about this house...
Time sure does go slow around here...
He's not been on here since October 17th, according to his profile.
If he's not been online, then he's not going to have updated...
...maybe he has more important things to do?

Points:
- Really arrowy theme going on. Are they pointing towards something?.. No
- Kinda small, bigger than the BB8 bedroom.
- All merged back into one bedroom.
