I think its the first time this year that BB won its slot at 9pm. It got 3.4 million and was easily the most watched Wednesday show this year, the previous most watched was watched by 3.2 million in Week 2, both BBC1 and ITV were behind C4 :cheer2:

Congtats BB!!!

Big Brother sets Wednesday series high

Big Brother set a Wednesday series high last night as 3.4m (17%) tuned in.

5 Minute Breakdown:
21.00 2.58m
21.05 2.73m
21.10 2.64m
21.15 2.73m
21.20 2.97m
21.25 2.64m
21.30 2.94m
21.35 3.08m
21.40 2.94m
21.45 2.75m
21.50 3.21m
21.55 3.27m
At 9pm, Big Brother was watched by 2.9m (14%) on Channel 4. An hour later, a further 550,000 tuned into C4+1.

It was easily the most watched Wednesday show of this series. The previous most watched Wednesday show was week 2, when 3.2m (18%) watched.

Also, Big Brother did brilliantly to win its slot last night! It was the top show at 9pm, beating all other channels. This is the first time that Big Brother has won its slot for a regular highlights show in over a year. BBC1 came second in the slot, with Panorama grabbing 2.9m (14%). ITV1 did even worse with only 2.7m (13%) watching Trinny and Susannah Undress the Nation.

This is the best start to a week ratings-wise this whole series. Let’s hope the ratings continue to improve.

The current series overnight average is: 3.2m (16%).
