Here is where you NAME and SHAME those games you hate

What could be better than being stuck in a mall with zombies and a wide array of weapons.

Well lots!

Dead Rising
Xbox 360
-Bad save system
-Repeatative
-Depressing
-Bland

and overall not well thought out
Do not buy this game

Virtua Fighter games suck ass.

As do football management games that AREN'T on the PC. They're sooo boring. But I liked the PC games.

Dead Rising? Are you kidding me? That was one of the few imaginative 360 games that reminded me of the good old days where games were about dumb, bloody fun. I agree, the save system is wank, but its really not that hard to walk to one of the in game bathrooms!

Killing zombies never gets old with the environment the games gives you.

Crysis - Fairly good gameplay, but the ending is SO abrupt and random.

Killing zombies never gets old with the environment the games gives you. I have to disagree, I hated it because it felt like I actually spent a whole year in that god damned mall because I forgot to save

Then surely thats a reflection on your own poor memory and not the gameplay? :joker:

Well, most current games either autosave, or have a save option on the menu, it was fun when it was daytime, but the night time seemed to dominate the game

Very_Nayce
01-08-2008, 06:59 PM
Yeah and we know where autosave got us ... piss easy checkpoint based games. No thank you.

Also their was roughly the same amount of nightime as their was daytime?

Scarlett.

Yeah, but it felt like the night lasted for ever, they could have implimented some more features in it

Halo 3, didn't like this game at all
I'm not impressed with any of this game, so many much better games out there which are less hyped.

100000+ more fun than Halo (although I enjoyed the story)

Everything is way to hyped up on graphics these days

Gimme Shining in the Darkness anyday

Halo is incredibly overated but calling Red Faction better is a bit of a bridge too far I think. Halo really comes in to its own when its online. And I would hardly mention graphics when talking about halo 3. In terms of 360 graphics, theirs nothing THAT outstanding about Halo 3 so the ''Everything is way to hyped up on graphics these days'' hardly holds water.

As for dead rising, im afraid I have absoloutely no idea what your criticisms are because your being really abstract. No matter.

I thought you were the one who just said graphics are overhyped? Now you want me to judge a game none of us have ever played based on a picture?

Still Halo for me. Superior to Red Faction in almost every way, screw that, it WAS superior IN every way, as reflected by sales and critical reception.

Each to their own, though.

Me and my mates as a joke decided to get this spice girls game.

It was actually tragic, you couldn't even take the piss out of it

Each to their own, though. Wasnt highlighting graphics, was highlighting being able to smash through buildings

its fun!

Anyway back on topic

Im not reccomending it for goodness sake. I was originaly discussing halo, which was brought into this topic as a non reccomended game. In fact, your the one guilty of reccomending a game - Red Faction.

Are we not allowed discuss games in this thread, or do we all just blindly name them and agree?
