Internet typing styles that annoy you?

I've been noticing a few styles that annoy me recently.

ALL CAPS is certainly a start, but it doesn't really annoy me too much. What annoys me more is when "People Always Capitalize The First Letter Of Each Word Even If It Isn't A Title Or Anything. They Even Capitalize The Words That Are Supposed To Be In Lowercase On Titles"

I also don't like it when people use internet speak for their ENTIRE message by shortening every word. Surely a few more taps on a keyboard isn't that much more energy consuming!

Are there any styles that annoy you? And don't put your entire post in it, because then you'd probably get told off by a mod. :tongue:

(Before someone says, I know Darenn does this, but he does it in a way thats grammatically correct and neat rather than just randomly doing it, so I like his style, haha).

My own style annoys me too, it's so long and drawn out and boring. Yawn. And I also use a lot of brackets and side notes and things. Generally just not nice.

I also dislike text speech on the forum. On msn I expect it, but on the forum it annoys me, especially as it's against the rules.

I think my style might annoy people with the heavy use of exclamation marks so I try to limit myself to one or two per post. :joker:

It also annoys me when people spell words incorrectly but if its shorthand I can see why, but they do it so it either has the same amount or more letters than the original!!

I don't mind text speech, or caps or lines ect, but the two things that REALLY get me are when someone types like this:

Another one to add to the list - "you". I've read countless deliberate misspellings of "you" - including yoo, yooh, yhoo, yuu, yhuu, yuuh, yhou - each more annoying that the last!

its is basikally realy long long long long paragraphs that have no punctuatin several speling erors and it read like when you talk to people like you read now then like you would say to someone and stuff It Can Include More Hip Hop Styles With The Words Spelt In Captitals at the start but this tends to happen in the late styannle era dears now then did i say that it tends to repeat it self a lot and droans on it sometimes goes over the same points like there is long paragraphs and no punctuation and spelling errors i once brought up the styannle issue when the user of styannle was on the forum but everyone got angry at me but now my dear friend when the styannle user is gone they mock the styannle style which is rather bad so i find the styannle very annoying my dear friends oh and it may contain several lovely smiles like this :flowers::flowers::flowers::hug::hug: in every post love you my dear friends

thats a very cruel thing to do and the fact shes not here to defand herself is even worse and she's much nicer then you'll probably ever be on this forum just because she types a certain way or spells a word or different way to you or me doesn't make her any worse then anyone else for you to attack in her a thread i hope you read back on that and think how cruel and personal it is no matter how much the way she posts annoys you i could probably say 10,000 things about the way you post on here but i sharen't because i have more respect for the forum as it'll probably include a few insults or too :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

I hate when people having glaring mistakes on their Bebo/MySpace page. Like the kind of mistake that has been there for so long, you wonder if the person actually proof reads anything. A prime example: misspelling the word "pigeon" right after you've spelled it correctly the whole way through. What did that poor letter E do to deserve being replaced with another I? :shrug:

Seriously though, that annoys me, as well as people who lengthen words for no reason, as has been mentioned e.g. "yhoo" - so not only do you type like a 3 year old, but you also like to add in things that really aren't needed. Great life you're going to have.

Shortening words I can get, but changing words so they are the same amount of letters but different letters, as said before. 'Am' instead of 'I'm'

But then again, we all have habits of talking in our accents, I do it!

That's a good point. Sometimes it's even more letters (like my above you example - yhoo, yooh etc.

It takes the same amount of/less effort to type it normally :laugh:

I always type in my accent when I'm on msn, try not to to people on here (well except for Laura because shes the only person from North England I've got and speak to quite a bit) but for everyone else sometimes I break into accent talk and they're like :conf2:
