Ahmed Gets Formal Warning

The usually rule-abiding Ahmed has been issued with a formal warning after Big Brother observed him attempting to fix votes.

After being ticked off last night for chatting about nominations with Jason and Victor, the oldest housemates gathered all his housemates together and demanded that they all nominate him so that he can leave the House as soon as possible.

He wanted to go, he explained, but he didn't want to quit and he wanted his night in the limelight with Davina.

This afternoon, Big Brother summoned Ahmed to the Diary Room to make sure he understood that his actions were in breach of the rules.

The 44-year-old stormed back to the communal areas and flipped furiously through the rulebook, before clarifying his position.

"I'm not influencing you," Ahmed told the housemates, "I'm telling you to nominate me."

Big Brother once again called him to the Diary Room.

Back in the Diary Room, the Somalian told Big Brother that he hadn't broken a rule because there was a difference between influencing people's votes and telling people how to vote, although he failed to explain how.

A lengthy exchange incurred after which Ahmed was given a formal warning.
