Oh, for goodness' sake! Crying when they receive their letters from home? What is the deal!? It's not like they've been gone for two years. They've only been in the house 60 days! That's nothing! And all of the letters were very cliche.
They were just acting dramatic to make good TV. I wish BB wouldn't even give them letters from home. It violates the contact with the outside world thing, which is the WHOLE POINT of BB. They're not supposed to HAVE contact with the outside world! GAH!!
they were 'acting dramatic' because it was emotional for them. anyway we've all discussed this already, its in the past

If I hadn't seen my family+friends+boyfriend for three months, I'd be emotional too.
Oh sorry, it's overdramatic
Some people are more emotional than others and I think it's awful to brand them dramatic for it?

I believe it was raw emotion. Yeah the letters were bog standard, but it's a relief to know that they're families are behind them :)

Oh God, have a heart!!! What on earth would they gain from putting it on that they're emotional?? :conf: And it's so cruel to slag them off coz they're overwhelmed with hearing from loved ones, and that includes the HMs that I like AND that I don't like - that's really low bigbr0ther!

Bit insensitive don't you think?
It stopped the housemates from walking, they needed that boost from friends and family...
I'd be missing my friends and mother if I was there for three months with pretty outgoing personalities.

I wouldn't expect a Luke supporter such as yourself to have a heart anyway.

Not seeing friends and family in 60 Days, well that is tough, and I would be really emotional just to hear from them in any small way possible, it was just a relief for them, they miss their folks so much

No Big_Brutta No! I was a Luke supporter but I have a heart and I cried at all the letters from home - even Kats and I can't stand the silly little miss! Lisa's from Mario was fantastic and so was Mikeys and Mo's. So yes I have a heart - honest - more lovey dovey stuff please but no more of the Rex and Nicole show - :yuk:

Er... we never discussed this. What are you on about?

Please use question marks only when asking a question. It's not even been three months, it's only been two. And when people move they often go years without seeing friends or family. They don't start crying as soon as they receive a surprise letter from someone.

Hm, this is true. I guess you're right. But as evil as it sounds I really don't want them having that relief. It defeats the whole purpose of Big Brother, which is total isolation, not knowing what the outside world thinks of you at all, including friends and family.

Have a heart? They chose to go on BB and live without contact from the outside world, and they can choose to leave at any time if they are so desperate to know what others think.

1) Nope, I don't think I was insensitive.
2) No it didn't. Even if it did, I'd rather they just have walked. Maysoon wasn't given a letter from home.
3) It's two months.

Oh, very nice, and yet completely irrelevant. I love Luke. Build a bridge and get over it!

I guess I see what you're saying, but still, people who move go years without seeing their friends or families. And as evil as it sounds, I feel like that sort of relief defeats the purpose of Big Brother; complete isolation, not knowing what the public (or anyone) thinks of you.
