Who else watched this several-part-documentary on channel 4 recently?? its just finished but I thought its worth to chat about. At the start I had no respect really for the people around 30-40-50 who couldn't read or write a single thing! but after getting to know the characters in it and seen what they managed to achieve at the end, I felt pretty proud of some, especially Teresa who has done brilliantly!


(Also one lady lives near me and enrolled at my college and my college was on tv :bigsmile: CLAIM TO FAME lol)

What a legendary programme.

It was interesting to see how they developed in their skills. Some of them had genuine issues with it, whereas some just hadn't been given the opportunity to learn - and once they had, were moving up in leaps and bounds.

Must admit the best bit was when she was in your college, hahaha.
