Is it bad to swallow your gum?

I just accidentally swallowed my gum and now there's a pain in my chest and I'm suddenly getting a headache. Should I be concerned?

Nah don't be concerned. It's only dangerous if you do it often. The pain in your stomach will just be your stomach trying to digest it... nothing to worry about.

erm ive been swallowing gum most of my life lol im fine.. altough tmi here.. i hardly go toilet.. probably once every 3/4 days.. so maybe the gum does block.. i went throught5 packets of trident yesterday swallowed them all :S.. xx

i have cereal in the morn.. a packet of chrisp and a fruit for lunch and then a bowl of dinner or if i dnt like wats cooking i have two pieces of toast and tea.. but normaly a bowl of food like today i had spagetti... and i went two days ago..lol
