The housemate bags an ever-changing prize that warms her heart...

Gathered on the sofas, the housemates waited for Rachel's ever-changing prize - a message from home.

Rachel sat with her face in her hands, twitching in anticipation, until finally, the video screen flickered and Rachel's mum, dad and boyfriend appeared on the screen.

"We're all missing you so much, especially this little monster," her mum said, holding her dog in her arms.

"Everything's fine, don't worry about anything," her mum assured her.

Her boyfriend, Richard, was next to speak, "I love you so much, I miss you so much, I'll see you soon anyway baby," he told her.

Holding back the tears, Rachel rocked back and forward, with her hands still clasped to her face.

But the icing on the message cake was coming up next. Rachel got news of, and saw for the very first time, her half-sister who she's never met.

Ahh, warms the cockles, doesn't it.

I don't like Rachel [AS A HOUSEMATE], but that video made me well up. Her family seem really nice and I'm glad she's going to meet her half sister

Rachel is THE star of BB9 and a true winner, she's been one of a few consistantly pleased to be in the house, she had oppinions and stood up to people like Alex, Rex, Stuart, Darnell, Luke and Lisa.

Above all she's been kind and held her integrity despite the abuse, whether she wins or not will not effect this young lady, she was in the show for the enjoyment she's won a lovely friend in Kat and had fun, I'm glad she got her well earnt message from home and it was a lovely gesture from Dale too.
I dont think there was any reason to question his motives, that was all genuine, why didnt he do that from day 1?..................like for example Rachel

Aww that was so lovely. She deserved that aswell, especially after picking the others letters over her own, I'm so glad she got that message. Then Dale hugging her at the end, that was so sweet of him.
