"Rex's girlfriend....."

Why do none of the housemates call her by her name? Everyone call's her Rex's girlfriend.

Nobody really know her yet to call her Nicole. She came in as Rex's girlfriend and I don't think she will be known as Nicole unless Rex leaves before her.

It's because they've known Rex like CONSTANTLY for ages, and they've only just met her. It's like meeting a mate's girlfriend/boyfriend for the first time I guess
