A place for people to discuss Irish reality show, Fáilte Towers, which launched last week on RTE. It has 12 celebrities living and working in a hotel - and so far, I'm enjoying it.

Liz O'Kane - TV Presenter - Eliminated 3rd
Don Baker - Singer Songwriter
Donne & Joe - Brother and sister singing act
Evelyn Cusack - TV Presenter
Jennifer Maguire - 'The Apprentice UK' contestant
Patricia McKenna - Politician
Sean Ó Domhnaill - Former All-Ireland medal winner

It's a good bunch, with some well known Irish celebrities. But, like all Irish reality show it seems to have been hit by the "Cabin Fever Curse" as it's been reported that all the celebs have threatened to walk off the show, for some reason.

Anyway, its all for charity and there are eliminations every two nights when one celeb is asked to "check out".

Well they had the nudiest guests the other day, and they were invited to the hotel and didnt book it like other guests. But it doesn't matter because it was very funny :laugh:

I really like Jennifer and I feel sorry for her. She is one of the main people on the show and makes good TV. Jen, Brian, Michelle and Donna/Joe are my faves.

Patricia was eliminated tonight.

Donna & Joe and Michelle were also in bottom 3.

Tonights show was good. The wedding was great, even if it was fake.

Yeah I watch it my parents got the Irish channels tuned into our set. I love Brian, Michelle, Jennifer and Donna/Joe. Get that cock Don out then that Evelyn one.

"The Don" is great, hilerious and I really grew to like Evelyn last night. The two that really need to go are John & Sean - dullards.

Jennifer now been in the bottom 3 four out of five times, which I don't get because she is amazing.

Don's plea to stay was cringe worthy, although he made good points - he did it he wrong way.

Judge Derry saved Jennifer from the bottom 2 vote.

With 2 votes to 1, Evelyn was sent home.

Ahhh, I've been in ireland for two weeks (visiting my Dad) and I watched a few bits with my dads girlfriend. To be honest it wasn't great but did entertain me. Them presenters were a tad odd lol.

Now i'm home I won't be able to watch it :sad: :laugh:

You can watch online, but says in Ireland only - you might be able to find away around that.

I'll miss D&J they were so cringey but funny! Michelle is the most famous person there followed by Brian who I usually love but is starting to grate on me a bit!

No way Michelle is in all the magazines especially in the last month due to her affair, she has her Liberty X fans, You're A Star viewers and is well known on the London party scene. Brian is really only known to BB fans and a handful of people who watched him on HK.

But yes he is getting a tad irritating like whne he was safe a couple of nights ago and he ran in and smacked his ass and just made a show of himself really!

Brian is FAR more famous then Michelle. Millions saw him on BB, he had his own TV show, he presented SMTV, he hosted celebrity shows on Living. He is still very popular and is definitely more famous and more popular then Michelle.

I wanted John to go overall. Out of the Bottom 3 I wanted Don to go. But out of the bottom 2, I'm glad Michelle went.

I want the final to go:
4th - John
3rd - Don

Jennifer finished in 4th place tonight, and voting re-opend for the remaining three.

Don finished thrid. Brian was the runner-up. John is the winner of Failte Towers 2008.

Just finished watching all the ps I had Sky +ed. I'm glad Brian did well, but soo disappointed he didn't even get a best bits! :sad:

I read somewhere the Joe has been offered a role as a presenter on some childrens TV show on RTE.
