The vile fashion world is too blame.. Fake fur is just as good as real fur.. The chinese skin dogs and cats alive... All for money. Nasty world but always been that way and always will be.

Why shouldn't it?
It's about a relevant, serious topic, and it's been shown a while after the watershed begun?

So we should not put real stuff on the TV, and keep the british public in a nice bubbledwrap society, there is a point behind this and it is too change the mind of people who wear fur.
Its just like the Jamie Oliver program that showed chicks being gassed to death, its what happens in the real world and some people cant handle it yet they still think its acceptable. I am gonna watch it on +1 see if it is any good. Should be interesting.

Why would animal lovers watch it though, especially given that the announcer warned the viewers before the show begun that it contained scenes of animals being killed/animals in distress?

I tryed to watch it but I just couldn't, too upsetting. I remember watching something similar presented by Heather Mills a few years back and that got me feeling queasy.

Then you get told your wrapped in bubble wrap because you don't want to watch.I wonder how many people would watch if it was a man/woman we are only animal's after all.

But if animal lovers are veggie and all that then why should they watch it? They're already completely against it,wrapped in bubble wrap or not.

I would never watch it. I do actually think someday I will end up murdering a fur trader or burning down a fur shop (I'm not actually joking)

Shame on channel 4? People have the choice to watch these documentaries, and issues like this should be shown in the media, even if it might upset people. 'Shouldn't be allowed on'? I suppose after the frivolous nature of bb something so real and shocking would upset most whose biggest upset is normally when another idiot is evicted.

Oh, and we can't have a bit of reality creeping in and upsetting people can we?

Your line about 'we all know it happens' suggests that new programmes like this should not be put on TV. There has been a steady increase in the trade since the 80s and it's good that channel 4 have shown something like this, as people become accepting of it. It's not sick to watch, people aren't enjoying watching these images, but they are being shown to provoke an extreme reaction and serve as a reminder about the depths of cruelty which takes place.
The only bit, I found upsetting was the bit about the fok being skinned alive and when the seals were getting ckubbed to death.
