AHMED AND BECKI FACE EVICTION FROM THE BIG BROTHER HOUSE
Yesterday, the nine remaining Big Brother housemates went individually into the Diary Room to nominate the two housemates they most want to be evicted from the house this week. However, when the time came for Jason and Victor to make their nominations, they were informed by Big Brother that as a punishment for constantly talking about nominations and voting strategies over the past few weeks, they would not be allowed to nominate.
Therefore only seven housemates were eligible to nominate this week. Two people are up for eviction, they are: Ahmed (3 votes) and Becki (4 votes).
It is now up to the public to decide who goes. The housemate chosen for eviction will be told of their impending departure from the house on Friday 9 July during the LIVE 9pm show, giving them just over half an hour to pack their possessions and say their goodbyes.
The news that Ahmed and Becki have been nominated was announced to the housemates at 6pm today (Tuesday 6 July) LIVE on Channel 4 during Big Brother’s Little Brother. On hearing the news, Ahmed nodded and Becki smiled. Shell asked them if they were OK and they both responded, “I’m OK” in unison. Ahmed smiled and said, “A and B” and Becki added, “I was expecting it anyway.” Ahmed and Becki both discussed how much they expected to hear their names and Ahmed told her “we’re both on the sinking ship.” He later said, “if I don’t hear my name I’m surprised.”
The housemates voted in the privacy of the diary room are NOT allowed to disclose their nominations to one another. We can divulge who voted for who…

Each housemate was required to give a full and frank reason for their choice of nominees, and failure to do so could result in an official warning from Big Brother. Comments included:
Ahmed voted for Nadia, he said “I was patient with her until day 32 and she was always defending Marco, he was provoking me and always hiding behind her skirt. He also nominated Dan, because, “on Saturday’s challenge, he picked me not as a farmer, as a cow to be blindfolded and beforehand I told housemates I would never accept to be blindfolded.”
Becky voted for Daniel she said “he is so squeamish about female parts, I’ve got female genitalia and I do not think it is disgusting, to be squeamish about another human’s parts, I find it offensive.”
She also nominated Ahmed because, “I went after him into the loo and there were lots of pee stains and I thought it was unclean and inconsiderate.”
Daniel voted for Victor, he said “his grammar is crap, he ends every sentence ‘innit” and it’s annoying, every time, ‘’innit, innit” and he farts loudly, and I think him and Jason were doing some whispering, not sure if it was about me.”
He nominated Becki because “there is a big side to her that she is not showing, I am always wary of people who are really nice, she is trying too hard to be nice.”

As a consequence of discussing nominations a total of 31 times, Big Brother has banned Jason from making a nomination this week. On leaving the diary room he said; “That was a waste of time, I wasn’t allowed to nominate. Apparently I had a conversation with Victor, even after my second warning and they thought I was trying to influence Victor’s opinion about a certain person.“
Michelle voted for Ahmed, she said “I don’t feel that he gels with everyone in the group as well as everybody else in the group, I can’t gel with him as well as I might like to, because we are not on the same wave length. I am not thick or stupid or anything, but I came into this house to have fun, I don’t want to have political discussions, I just can’t be bothered.”
She nominated Becki because “we are already formed as a group, there are connections made with everyone, whether they be strong or in conflict but they were formed since day one, she is not part of this group.”
Nadia nominated Jason, she said, “I have been pushed against the wall, metaphorically speaking, and not given a second chance. After day 20 when everything happened, I apologised to him, I thought he accepted it, but obviously he didn’t… he treated me as a criminal up to last Friday when he came up to me and said let’s make peace, I still felt he was too harsh to me.”
She voted for Victor because “he took Jason’s side, not even considering me or how I felt, what I was thinking or what emotions I was going through.”
Shell voted for Becki because “everyone has been here for four weeks, and I just know how I’d feel if perhaps I had been here five weeks and someone else had been here only two, and that person got to stay longer than perhaps the person who had been here for a greater length of time, who has survived longer, gone through more things or miss their family for a greater length of time.”
She nominated Jason because “only last Monday he got very cross about the passive smoking, which is fair enough, but sometimes when I feel he has a problem like with that issue, he is quite difficult to communicate with.”
Stuart voted for Ahmed because “Ahmed does not want to be in the house as much as other people, so they deserve to be here more.”
He nominated Becki because “I’ve shared a lot of experiences and memories with people in the house and her face is still a new face.”
*Stuart received a formal warning for not providing full and frank reasons for nominating Ahmed.
