View Full Version : CELEBRITY BB & TOO MUCH PRIVACY: My Solution!

As BB9 draws to a close, it's about time to start thinking about CBB, coming up this January. One of the things I don't like about CBB is that there are no cameras in the restroom. This makes sense; after all, what celebrity would agree to go on a show that films them there? But what annoys me is that so often two celebrities would go in there to have their argument or a private conversation. Here's my solution.

1) Make a rule and print it on the door of the restroom reading "ONLY ONE HOUSEMATE IN RESTROOM AT A TIME."

2) Give BB complete control over the locks of the restroom. If two people are about to go into it for a private conversation, or to release some sort of emotion, lock the door so they can't get in.

3) Make the door of the restroom the same size as the other 3 walls, and make it a sliding door that slides into the wall. Then, if at any point two people go in at once, BB should automatically open the door. This way, NO private conversations will occur. If any housemates try to break the one-at-a-time rule, they simply won't be able to.

4) After each use of the restroom, BB should check to make sure no one's left any secret messages in there.

I made this because I got really frustrated during the last CBB about people having private conversations and releasing emotional stress (such as anger or sadness) in the privacy of the restroom.

So... what do you think?

I have never seen the point of cameras in the toilets, it wrong.
I like the idea of 1 person only allowed in there at a time, then there will be no need for cameras. Also the room should just be so little that only 1 person can fit in anyway
There should be no cameras for the main series as well as the celebrity series

What if a housemate's sick? [Glyn, Sara etc]

They'd need another housemate in the restroom with them to care for them [or in Sara's case, move her hair away from her mouth]

Considering you like Mario as a housemate, one person in a room alone without a camera doesn't exactly seem safe in certain circumstances.

Without cameras in there, they could write messages for each other with lipstick or whatever on the back of the door, including nomination plans.

Better Solution: Just put a camera in there.

I love the idea of having the room tiny. Instead of a huge door, just have a tiny room, and still have the door the same size as the other 3 walls.

Simple. If they're fine with another housemate seeing them, they should be fine with the cameras seeing them. If a housemate wants company while he throws up, he can throw up with the door open.

Hmm, that's true. I have an idea for this though too. Lol. In CBB the sinks and such are separate from the main restroom. The sinks are on camera. Lock off the whole restroom area after each use, and have show producers/staff go in and make sure there are no secret messages anywhere. :)

This is a good idea except that if they implemented it they wouldn't be able to get any celebrities to agree to go on the show.
