Mikey and Kat emerged from the Diary Room tonight and shouted that they had launched a "Support Rachel Campaign".
The statement developed into a group discussion about the merits of both the Welsh housemate and her fellow nominee Stuart.
Rex confidently announced that he had only ever been wrong once and knew Rachel would go.
Stuart, who has made it clear that he wants to leave, said the public would be voting for the person they do not like and that it would impossible not to like Rachel.
He went on to say that with Wales, Kat’s fans and Mikey’s fans behind her, Rachel has a good chance of escaping the axe.
Housemates' bullying behaviour towards the trainee teacher was also mentioned by Stu, who said people watching would want to protect her.
In reply, Rachel said Stu was a supportive friend who people would like. She added that he was also not lacking in the looks department.
As the discussion neared an end, Rachel told Stu: "I don’t mind going out against you, anyway."
Kat said they should stop talking about it, while Rex told Nicole in the luxury bedroom: "You know Rachel is going."
Nicole replied that she knew nothing and told Rex she was going outside to smoke.
