i think they're doing that so when he is up for eviction it will make the public want him out more

Plus, it makes me laugh when commentators such as John McCririck on BBLB say authoritatively 'Mohammed is SO GREEDY' when what they mean is 'all the other housemates say he is so greedy'.

Millions of viewers should not be bothered about whether he is greedy or not ... they don't have to share his food. And in a way, it's a point in his favour, I think. He's kind of cool, Mohammed.

they may not have to share the food but he shouldnt be so selfish as to eat food that is meant for like another 10 people

The producers usually exaggerate a personality type or character of a housemate, and then they use edits to magnify that.
