Cheryl Cole has revealed that she will perform with Girls Aloud on the new series of The X Factor.
The popstar, who recently joined the panel of the ITV1 talent show, will be forced to slot her performance around her judging duties during one of this year's live shows.
Speaking at yesterday's X Factor press launch, she confirmed that Girls Aloud will perform the first single from their new album on the show, saying: "Imagine how awkward it's going to be for me!"
Meanwhile, her fellow judge Simon Cowell quipped: "We're going to move the desk forward so we're very, very close to Cheryl when she performs that night."
Cole also revealed that she has managed to strike a balance between her new X Factor duties and her existing commitment to Girls Aloud.
"It's actually worked out really well with our schedule because we're in the studio at the moment recording the [new] album," she said.
"It's one of those things that we can juggle round as needs be and as long as it's all complete by the set date, it's happy days."
