View Full Version : Formal Warnings Warning
The housemates' attempt to call a truce with Big Brother over their day of silence has ended with the threat of formal warnings.
Waving a white flag as she went into the Diary Room with Michelle, Daniel and Shell, Nadia informed Big Brother, "We want to speak again."
After failing to elicit a response from their silent master, the housemates took action. Swiping a camera from the Diary Room they positioned it outside.
Michelle took the prank one step too far, unplugging the camera and dragging it into the garden.
"Get some straw," urged the Geordie rebel as Stuart obliged and arranged a small pile around the camera.
As she attempted to set the straw alight Big Brother sternly summoned the housemates to the sofas.
Swearing under her breath Michelle dropped the matches and scampered nervously to join the others in the living room.
"Oh s***," she hissed through gritted teeth, pondering her fate.
The group sat quietly on the sofas in keeping with the mood of the day. And wait they did - Big Brother was in no hurry to alleviate the growing tension.
Nadia tried to lighten the tone and waved the white flag, prompting nervous laughter from Michelle.
Losing patience, Stuart and Michelle resumed their plan to set fire to the camera and ran into the garden. As they tried to ignite the straw, they were halted in their tracks by Big Brother's second order to assemble on the sofas.
"Formal warnings will be now be issued," boomed Big Brother, adding, "If equipment is not returned immediately or any further rule-breaking occurs, all housemates will be punished regardless of their involvement."
Shell was concerned as the housemates waited to hear their fate, "This is the first warning I've had for anything in my life," she said nervously speculating that a warning was coming her way.
Who'll get a warning and who'll escape with their halo intact?

Well they deserved that, although it has been quite funny.
Do you think they will get a warning or not? There are some HM that have got maximum warnings already and they could get kicked out
Jason and Victor played a very low key part in the protest today, granted I did not see all of todays protest but they played no part in the camera removal so they won't get a warning. I think Nadia, Stu and Michelle will get Official warnings today!?

Just been reading on Digital spy that the nominations warning was an "official one" Not a formal one. So now I am confused. What's the difference.......:conf::conf:

What is the difference between a formal warning and an official warning
kaphc
08-07-2004, 08:04 PM
I think the difference is what ever Big Brother wants it to be - so that they can "warn" people laods of times without actually evicting them!

Why do others get three strikes and Michelle only one?
Those involved in fight night crossed a line on a more serious matter?
Sorry if this has been answered elsewhere :conf:

Michelle got the first and final warning because she was going to set fire to the camera - or going to start a fire undereath it anyway.
Formal warnings count

Michelle and Stu removed a microphone they found attached to the underside of their bed and took it to the diary room. They were told not to remove fixtures and fittings or they will get another warning.
They have been really naughty. They had better watch out or they will be out off there.

Well. BB set the example by burning an item. BB should give themselves a final warning to sack themselves if any more unfairness is practiced by them.
The logic of BB this year defies logic. Emma removed "No good reason". Victor the intimidator stays "No good reason"
Michelle only allowed one warning while the rest have multiple chances "No good reason"...:devil::mad::mad:

The camera must be a fairly expensive piece of hardware so I think it's understandable that Big Brother gave Michelle a final warning for threatening to burn it.
And the cowboy hat belonged to Big Brother so that was theirs to burn.
