What did you want to be when you grew up?

A pilot, as did most kids. Then I grew out of that and wanted to join the police.

Now I'd love doing either, I haven't grown out of wanting to fly a plane or drive a police car :whistle:

I wanted to be Jafar from Aladdin...i used to think he was so cool. I got his costume for Christmas once...and i went to the park with it on and started hitting people with the staff (was it a snake?).

Anyway...i then went into my room and started drawing making a throne. I put a picture of a snake above the chair (It just had a gold blanket over it). Then i got all my friends round and told them to go and get their mums to buy them a costume from Aladdin...and only three of them did...and i told them we was going to rule the city (Meaning our little estate...but it wouldn't be Jafar like if i said "We're going to rule the estate" lmao).

And i had a plan and everything...but then their mum's found out what i was doing and i got grounded for a week...i sold the costume a couple of years ago for £40.

Like most little girls, I wanted to either be a famous actress or singer. And then you realise it isn't for everyone, and it's not necessarily as amazing. :hugesmile:

Then I watched shows like Ally McBeal and Legally Blonde, and really wanted to be a lawyer, or just working in an amazing city/global firm. Those big offices look glamorous and successful, but it's obviously really difficult to get jobs there - and it's hard work too! Bit out of reach.

Now, I'm thinking of doing something related to journalism, although apparently it's hard to find a job in that field... and the TV aspect is even more difficult. I've thought about being an author as well, but I don't think I'd have the ideas nor the patience to write a whole book.

So yeah, I've thought through tonnes! :hugesmile: And at the moment, I'm really not sure!

I didnt know what I wanted to be when I was younger. But as an adult I've had various roles, Directors PA, Stockbroking Front Office Senior Administrator and I am now a proud house mummy.
