Nikitta: Worst Treated X Factor Contestant Ever?

In my opinion, yes. She had so much potential, but was completely shafted by Simon as soon as the live shows started. Awful song choices, awful dancing, awful costumes.
A mistake I will never understand is why on gods earth did Simon Cowell, on love week, choose LAST DANCE for Nikitta to sing? Love week should have been a week for her to get a true belter, a song that could have, in my opinion, brought her right up there with the likes of Ben, favouritewise.

The sad thing is, Simon, IMO, saw Nikitta as competition to Leona. (This isn't a thread to slag off Leona or turn into how much better Leona is than Nikitta), as I think they, whilst having different voices, would have halved votes.

Hmm, I'd agree. I'd also say Simon shafted Hope and Futureproof to an extent, too, and Louis' choices for Daniel were terrible.

Yea she was brilliant i wanted her to win... when she got to the finals she was given crap songs and they were all if not mostly fast and she was better at the slow ones or ballads shown by her auditions.

I don't think he shafted Hope at all, I think he favoured them a lot.

I agree with Nikitta, she was definitely shafted for Leona. IMO, Nikitta was better than Leona. She was more unique, and could have grown to become a really powerful singer but she was never given the opportunity.

Nikitta was ruined to make Leona look better- 2 very similar acts so their voters will have been split and as a result one of them wouldn't have won. She was treated quite badly but I don't think she is the worst treated ever. Daniel was made a complete laughing stock of when realistically he could have won, Beverley was clearly forced to speak about sob stories she wasn't comfortable with and she was given the wrong songs when she too could have made the final. Then there was The Conway Sisters. Absolutely did my head in and they were crap but they were treated so unfairly by Simon (and they ditched him) and Sharon's outburst that night was uncalled for, OK she was upset but making them feel like crap because she lost an act was unfair.

To a certain extent I agree, I thought she was a good singer but tbh if she was that good then she would have shined when she was given bad choices.

I am a Nikitta fan, but I don't think she was mistreated at all. I just over all she was overshadowed by Leona. If Simon has given Nikitta ballads every week like he did Leona, she wouldn't have looked as good as she was. Simon and Nikitta were just trying to find her place. She should never have left over Ray though.

I absolutely adored Daniel, he was my favourite and I felt like his only fan at times XD
but I do think he was really talented.

are use forgetting about dionne from series 3,she was much better than dionne yet simon kept ripping the **** out of her for no reason,she was the best of the night in week 1 and was in the bottom 2 it was a bloody disgrace,and also daniel

and i still cant belive they sacrificed beverly to save hope

and to an extent nikita aswell its not fair that they favortize someone

Dionne got great songs though, her performances were good.
They didnt sacrifice Bev, it came down to public vote, and Bev got chucked out.

I agree with the OP

Theres no way shes as good as Leona, but she is good.
Simon gave her terrible songs. Her first audition was her highlight.

Hope werent though. Hope were given great songs.
