So...what about the winner?

They would never give 2million pound away, could they afford it?
But then again the show has been described as an history making show

If they have this amount of money, it should be given to the winner and not the winner of a task.

tax would be the normal tax rate for income (it is taxed as income) - so for over £35,000 it's like about 42% i think. So basically they'd only get $580,000 each... or £600,000 (it might be 40% thinking about it). Anyway yeah, basically i think about 40%. Unless the prize money allows for this...

i don't know. I mean Davina said she'd have a big surprise for 2 housemates on Wednesday. She said she had goosebumps and she didn't say it in a menacing way which would hint at a double eviction... And they've done double evictions before so it wouldn't be that exciting.

If they can afford £2 million for that why don't they pay copyright fees?

I doubt this!
Where would they get 2m from when the winner gets what, 100 grand?!
And it'd make no sense to give the winners of a task A MILLION POUND each and the winner of the show 100 grand?!

They should spend the money on something better than a Big Brother Winner, I love Big Brother and everything, but 1million is extreme. I'd rather the housemates choose a charity to give the 1million to or something

Good point. 100,000 is more than enough, they don't really deserve any more.
And if they wanna waste this much money (which I don't believe they do), why not spend it on making the show better for the viewers benefit than giving it to HMs.

Who wouldn't walk away with £1 million for nothing?
There wouldn't be any point in offering that to a housemate, they wouldn't turn it down.
