Five-piece girl band Girls Aloud are looking to recruit a sixth member through a TV talent show!!
The pop act will audition thousands of hopefuls as part of an ‘X Factor-style’ series to be screened next year. All five members will form the judging panel and pick a girl to join them on stage for a live show.

The band are considering making the winner a permanent "understudy". A tv insider revealed:

"The girls have never forgotten that reality TV gave them their break. Now they want to give someone else the chance to enjoy a taste of the success they have enjoyed.”

Hmmm, an understudy eh? Or, is this the gradual beginnings of a replacement for one of the girls. We wonder who would be the first to depart the band out of the lovely ladies? *cough-cheryl-cole-cough*

They're fine as they are.
They don't need anyone else.

Then again, Mr Paparazzi's hardly a decent person.
&there's loads of rumours about GA splitting up and stuff.

I'd love the show if it was like a 7 pm ITV thing but not a T4 show.
I'd hate the new member though, they don't need a new member anyway.

I hope it is only for a show or something. Bringing in a new member could damage their career I think.

That's the end of them then.
Can't say that I really care as long as they (apart from the one from Liverpool) stay in the public-eye and do some good photoshoots.
