The reason for using boring 4 times was for effect, you are right. Mo is one of the most boring housemates in Big Brother history IMO. I honestly can't think of 3 things he has done that have entertained me.

The main difference is Mo eats loads when they are on a basic budget and he always takes what he shouldn't have, ie other peoples. Lisa doesn't do that.

Going back to the whole muslim ordeal. He comes from a muslim family, and maybe his parents have accepted that he drinks and smokes but would be very angry to see him munching down on non halal meat on national t.v. Its called disrespect, and the halal thing is quite a big deal to muslims.

Why not try looking beneath the surfice?

Oh, and everyone can happily eat the halal meat, and they have done on many occasions.

Its just ammunition really, and also a very trivial reason to dislike someone so much.

Every housemate in there has been hypocritical at some point, and so have most of the population. Its human nature.

You don't need to prove he's greedy, we'll accept that as a given, seeing as he's nicknamed "Greedy Mo". Even though it's no big deal him enjoying a bit of food and drink.

So you're just left with this claim that he's hypocritical, to add to your measley list of "greedy, boring and lazy" as good reasons to dislike him. Mo is an independant thinker who tries to honour his religion, but is intelligent enough to see through it's old fashioned pointless ways. Therefore he uses it's guidance where he sees fit and still allows himself to enjoy certain aspects of life such as smoking, eating pork and drinking alcohol. Now, the reason Mo might request halal chicken or lamb is because these are available to him even within the strict rules of the Islam doctrine - so he refrains from crossing that line. To call him a hypocrite for breaking some rules but not all of them is to misunderstand the situation.

Your theory that he does it to be greedy and get more for himself is something you've dreamt up yourself, therefore void. Often Mo's settled for different meats rather than chicken or lamb seeing as other housemates kick up such a fuss. I believe he even honours the "no beef" rule, too.

Pork is forbidden to Muslims so will his parents be angry with that too? Is that disrespectful? Kat I really liked in the opening weeks, she provided some great entertainment but she peaked too early and I no longer like her.

Rachel has shown a huge strength of character being attacked by Rex on various occasions, one of which Mohamed of all people laughed at. After everything he went through in the opening weeks I would have thought he would be better than that, that was a real turning point for Mo for me.

I find Sara very endearing, if you watch the live feed she is very entertaining, if you watched the other night where Big Brother pulled a prank on her in the camera run that is a recent good example.

Yes it does, that just seems to be a long paragraph to try and excuse what he does.

The dictionary definition of hypocrisy:

1. a pretense of having a virtuous character, moral or religious beliefs or principles, etc., that one does not really possess.
2. a pretense of having some desirable or publicly approved attitude.
3. an act or instance of hypocrisy.

In religion you do not pick and choose what rules you follow, especially two which are so closely linked.

Religion is moral guidelines by which to live your life. If you say you are a good Muslim, Christian whatever then the chances are you follow the vast majority of the rules, especially all of the obvious ones. If you don't follow most the the rules, especially the obvious ones, then you are not a good follower of your religion and the "rebellion" is just an excuse for not following your religion properly but saying you are still a part of that religion.

Mo does not follow the halal guidelines, otherwise he wouldn't eat pork.

That is possibly the most ridiculous thing I have ever read. If he wants to be a Muslim then he should follow most of the rules. I say most because its impossible for everyone to know them all, but the obvious ones, and especially ones so closely linked should definitely be followed.

He says he won't eat non-halal meat because its against his religion, however he thinks its fine to eat pork, pork which is forbidden and as a consequence is not halal meat.

That is the point I'm trying to get across but I thought both of you might have been intelligent enough to figure that out.

You're basing your argument on the fundamentals of a backward, old fashioned religion. Mo doesn't claim to be a strict muslim, therefore he is not pretending to be anything he's not. Your halal point has already been contested, so there's no need to simply reiterate.

Just 100 years ago being religious was a huge part of everyones life, just as much as laws are. It was frowned upon by people if you weren't strictly religious. The only comparison we have is legal laws. If people choose to break a legal law, its often frowned upon, just as it would be if you broke a moral law (gained from religion) all those years ago. But with the advances of science less and less people are religious and religion is being diluted to a massive extent and is just generally being cheapened. People are using this "rebellion against religion" to justify breaking moral laws set out by their religion, however if they lived even just 100 years ago they would be thought of as a disgrace to their religion. However its somewhat acceptable these days because noone cares about religion, although some people still are and some people claim to be just to please others when clearly they aren't, just like Mohamed. I would have a hell of a lot more respect for Mohamed if he admitted he isn't a Muslim in the slightest.

As you point out, science has disproved many of the old religious myths and people are becoming more enlightened to the fact that they are merely moral guidelines rather than universal laws.

I will say, Mohammed does seem to put a good deal of emphasis on his religious stance to say he doesn't follow it too strictly, sometimes even I've thought well why go on about it if you want to be so rebellious about it, but it's no bad thing. Islam doesn't seem quite so backward and intolerant when you see it practised Mo's way, and any proud muslim would do well to appreciate that, really.

Mohamed has made the final weeks because he's slipped under the radar. If he had shown more of his repulsive/disgusting side earlier on, he'd easily have gone. Just because a housemate makes the final week, doesn't necessarily make them a good housemate. Loads of good housemates get booted out before the final.

Mohamed is disliked because he's greedy. He takes and leaves others without, and seems to do anything for more. He's disgusting, what with the bogey, and the weird fascination with Sara. He's lazy, and totally brought the water being thrown over him on himself. Housemates know not to sleep in the day and it was his bad attitude that caused that. He is a hypocrite, and Tom's covered that perfectly so I don't need to go into anymore detail. He's a bad housemate. He's boring, he's not done a single thing throughout his time in the house that has entertained or even slightly amused me and I've disliked him from pretty much the start. If he won, it'd be the biggest travesty in Big Brother history, he does not deserve it at all and IMO, he IS the worst housemate ever.
