This is the new shopping task, the official site reads:

It's a musical variety extravaganza...

Ooh la la! For this week's shopping task, housemates will experience the glitz and glamour of the entertainment capital of the world, Las Vegas.

On Day 1, Head of House Mohamed will choose housemates to play the roles of illusionist and glamorous assistant (who will learn and perform a mind boggling illusion), casino croupiers (who will each learn a sequence of six playing card flourishes), Elton John and Kiki Dee (who will learn and perform their smash hit, 'Don't Go Breaking My Heart') and an escapologist, who must learn to free themselves from a straitjacket.

Housemates will perform a Las Vegas variety show this evening. If they perform to Big Brother's satisfaction they will receive a luxury shopping budget of £5 per head per day.

But will what happens in Vegas stay in Vegas?

SHOPPING TASK: VIVA LAS VEGAS
TX: E4 streaming today, plus highlights show Wednesday 27th and Thursday 28th August

For this week's shopping task, housemates will experience the glitz and glamour of the entertainment capital of the world, Las Vegas.

DAY 1

The Head of House will choose the following roles:

ILLUSIONIST & ASSISTANT:
One housemate must take on the role of an illusionist and another housemate must become their assistant. They will learn and perform a mind boggling illusion.

CASINO CROUPIERS:
Two housemates must take on the roles of casino croupiers and each learn a sequence of six playing card flourishes.

ELTON JOHN & KIKI DEE:
Two housemates must become Elton John and Kiki Dee and learn and perform their smash hit, 'Don't Go Breaking My Heart'.

ESCAPOLOGIST:
One housemate must become an escapologist and learn to free themselves from a straitjacket.

Housemates will perform a Las Vegas variety show this evening.

If housemates perform to Big Brother's satisfaction they will receive a luxury shopping budget of £5 per head per day.

DAY 2
For the second part of the task, Housemates must play-away a luxury shopping budget of £280 on slot machines.

In order to pass this week's shopping task, housemates will have two hours in which to lose all £280.

Big Brother will provide Housemates with £280 in 10p coins. Each Housemate will receive a pot containing 350 x 10p coins.

If housemates have any coins left after the two hours, housemates will fail the entire task and will receive a basic shopping budget of £1 per head per day.

If housemates successfully play-away all the coins and any winnings within the two hours, then housemates will pass this week's shopping task and receive a luxury shopping budget of £5 per head per day.

They have threatened to put Miss Piggy and her poison Toad companion back in as a twist, since they were taken to LV and put into borrowed clothes for that publicity stunt, it wouldn't really surprise me if BB went along with this tacky theme!:yuk:

Of course all Slot machines now have an electronic "Chip" brain that can be programmed by the owner to do anything he decides.

In Las Vegas the Nevada Gaming Commission regularly check these chips to keep the owners in line!

BBs Slots look custom made, wonder what they have programmed them to do?:dog:
