During a mid morning lull, Victor emerged triumphantly from the Diary Room clutching a new suit and tie.
Earlier in the week, Shell had hung Victor's treasured eviction suit on a lightbulb and the threads were duly singed, reports the BB Website.
Today, Big Brother came over all benevolent.
Big Brother called the Slick Man to the red chair and told him to take the outfit away and try it on for size.
"Thanks mate," said a bewildered Vic.
Checking out his new togs, he then noticed the size of the trousers. "It's some mega big trousers, innit?" he said, a note of anxiety creeping into his voice.
Big Brother assured Victor that if they didn't fit, he could bring the trousers back. Suitably convinced, he went to show the gang his new acquisition.
Michelle was the first to utter her approval, "Vic, wow!" she enthused.
"Victor, that looks wicked," agreed Dan.
His smile widening by the minute, Vic told the gang how pleased he was and put on his new jacket. Further 'oohhs' and 'aahhs' ensued as the Londoner adopted that bad boy swagger.
"That's why they call me The Slick, innit?" Victor told the gang.
"I thought they'd give him a joke outfit after what they gave to Stu," said Daniel, referring to Stuart's oversized cowboy hat.
But it was Ahmed who reminded the group exactly what day it was, suggesting that Big Brother wouldn't stitch the gang up with any old rags.
"It's a serious day today," reminded Ahmed.
