I dont why Rex seems to get off lightly. He is the worst bully in there. He's sly and starts by asking (what he deems jokey) personal questions, then drags other hms into it, therein, he loads the gun and stands back while others fire the bullets, as in last nights hls with Darnell (who was appalling btw).

He is THE master gameplayer.

People defend that by saying 'oh you cant blame someone for being a game player on a gameshow'

How hypocritical to then lambast the likes of Kat and other housemates for for being gameplayers.

He's clever and calculating, makes for good entertainment.

The good thing about Rex is he knows how to control himself, he doesn't let things get out of hand - and if they do - he admits he was just being a dick and he apologises. People respect that honesty and tend to forgive the cockiness and mind games beforehand.

Yeh Rex Started it and went into the house and brought out darnell for extra amunition against sara, then stood back and watched it all unfold. He is a sly bully

Rex and Darnell Both got a warning,

Rex Was joking darnell wasnt.

Rex Also apologised Darnell didnt,

And many darnell fans used to say "when darnell does somthing wrong he notices it and apologises" but now are all saying that it doesnt matter that rex apologised...

Hes a smart guy. Did you notice how in the Hightlight show last night, Rex allowed Darnell to go along ripping into Sara for the whole evening, baiting it along (jokefully on his part) right upto the point they headed off to bed Rex commented to Darnell that he'd gone too far with Sara. It made me laugh seeing this because it's the exact same thing Darnell had done to Rex a couple nights earlier, when he was going on about that silent protest, Darnell put it in Rex's mind that he'd had complete control over the housemates that evening (which he did). If it's the right phrase for it, he has alot of social intelligence, which is what allows him to act the way he does but still be liked by the vast majority.

I can assure you i have never stuck up for darnell's behaviour in the past and saying sorry does not excuse the behaviour.

Even Sara said in the diary room its different when Rex does it but not when Darnell does it. Rex does it all with a smile on his face, his body language is totally different, Darnell does come across as threatning and he did take it to far. His comments last night were not fuelled by Rex at all they came out of his mouth and he has to take responsibility for that.

Rex is by far the nastiest housemate in there but he's very clever and doesnt fly off the handle like Darnell

OMFG!!

So because Rex does it with a smile on his face it makes it less derogatory?

Thats worse than being out right nasty to someone at least you know were you stand if someone comes up to you and is nasty to you.

When someone does it under the guise of a joke ( a wolf in sheeps clothing) i think its much more sly

he gets away with it because he is smarter than darnell, and darnell is so dumb and self-unaware as to fall into the trap that was laid for him
i am not a big rex fan at all, i think he can be a bit of a di*k in fact so not really trying to defend him but i think he did believe sara would be able to stick up for herself and he didnt think it would go as far as it did, hence the apology

Part of me can't stand Rex, and yet part of me thinks he has made this the best year ever.

Oh dear, dilemmas, dilemmas.

He is funny. Nasty, but funny.
