Reports indicate that I may have been right in surmising that endemol/ch4 were protecting their "Golden Boy" protege/investment by ensuring that Pointy Head makes the final.

A "celebrity" cooking show appears planned for Pointy Head and his "weird" family!!

Clarifies a lot of unanswered questions about favouritism!:whistle::xyxwave:

I don't like Rex, but I'm just curious to know because I haven't seen any evidence that Channel 4 is desperate for Rex to win.

Rex (rex's people) and bb producers have some cooking show planned ... the further he makes it the better the spin off show's chances are.
