Which do you prefer or own? I own the PS3 and prefer it because in the long run, the PS3 will be the best console because the 360 has a high failure rate because of the way it was poorly built whereas the PS3 is a great console with nearly no flaws (apart from the ridicuolus price).

When I was at my mate's house (whi is a 360 owner) a few weeks ago, I kept saying to him: "How funny would it be if your Xbox had the red ring while I'm here"
And it did.
I have a PS3, have never got on with Xbox. Plus Microsoft are bastards.

Which isn't guarenteed to work! As in my mate's case who sent it away for a new motherboard, and a few days later the red ring of death showed up again.

I have a xbox 360, i prefer it to the ps3, my brother has a ps3 and he thinks they're better, while i agree they do have more features, and are more reliable, i still prefer the xbox 360 as many have you have pointed out it's cheaper, i feel it's better in the long run.

lol people get so up on Microsoft for these errors
Seems they forgot the early PS2's disc read error, which didnt get free repair
Everyone at school is always arguing about this but anyway its XBox - cheaper and online is better.

Which starts the whole circle again! Lol, sorry for being a smarmy git, it's just that I think the Xbox isn't really worth it during the long run.

Lmao, just thought I'd also say that on Wikipedia, there is a whole page dedicated to Xbox 360 technical errors while there is no such thing for PS3. :xyxwave:

Some problems can't be fixed, it's your choice to buy a xbox 360 if you want one, everybody knows the risks of buying one, and Microsoft have put millions of pounds into trying to fix this problem, RROD is like cancer for the xbox, Microsoft are doing their best !

I don't think trying to fix the Xbox is as important as curing cancer IMO. Yeah, they've put millions of pounds in trying to fix the problems but unfortunately they have not fixed the problems altogether.

Sony playstation home (online) is far better than xbox live. Its still the early days but the 3D online world will grow and grow with more choice.
I have both and love both but i did vote for the PS3, the console is state of the art and looks great under a lovely HDTV:lovedup:
As the for the price wars.. Well there is a 160gb PS3 out soon for around £350, which in time will drop.
Oh and dont forget about BLU-RAY!!!

I mean't that the RROD is like cancer for people, sometimes it can be fixed, sometimes not. If you know what i mean.

Oh right. Misread it sorry. Yeah I know what you mean, but the thing with Xbox is that the games released have been developed to use all the 360's graphical power and features straight away, but with the PS3, the games have not yet reached the full graphical potential that the PS3 is capable of reaching so I reckon it's better in the long run.

I play on both alot but I prefer Xbox 360.
The online, controller and fell of it is so much better but there is a wider range of games on PS3
