Does it annoy you ever when people always, always go on about something ahead?

Like, "Oh My God, I cant wait for Pancake day 2010, its going to be so fun 'cuz I'll be 22 then". Bad example but I am tired and cba.

Anyway, does it annoy you when people always go on about things ahead? And sometimes when the blessed moment has arrived, they dont ever care?

Sorry to be Mr Jolly.

Scarlett.

Counting down to things makes things come faster to me. (ooo-err)

Then when you get there...you have to count to something else.

All life is really..is waiting to die.
Cos that sounds happy :p

True, might as well enjoy life while you can...for all we know we may never wake up in the mornings.

I'm trying to be positive but it's coming across as just grim hahah.

Theres no harm in looking forward to things but when we look forward to things it never seems to be as good as the build up and its over really fast, e.g. we all waited ages for the launch of BB8 and we were all excited and hyped up, then the excitement went down like a lead balloon when they stuck 11 women in.

Personally I like to take things a day at a time because I might not even be alive when what ever I'm looking forward to arrives ...

Its not good to wish your whole life away but if it is something huge and you do really apperciate it then its fine. Rubbish example but I was going on about the Take That concert 9 months before I went but I don't think I've ever been so happy,so it was so worth waiting for.

supernoodles!

its always good to look forward to something, but never wise to constantly wish away your life before you know it your as old as I am, wishing you were 21 all over again :conf2::bigsmile:

I remember when I was young in the stone age I started work and was so bored I used to say every Monday "Roll on Friday"...What a mistake before you know it your life has whittled away....
