He's mind is always crunching the numbers and working the angles ... and it's all how it effects him ... so if someone does some random thing he has to look at it through his " poor me" goggles and decides that that guy/girl is out to get him. He be NUTS ... eating a tube of toothpaste says so ...
Yes, i cut him some slack before, but it kind of gets annoying after a while.

Darnell would be the first to admit he is completely paranoid.

To be honest this is a stupid thread, of course he is paranoid, he is all of the time and he wants people to respect him and not "label him" (as it says on his hoody) but he is always losing respect from others, not gaining it. How do you get respect for calling a girl an "ugly b*tch"??

but he swings from "hey I'm paranoid it's all my fault .. poor me" to "hey I'm not paranoid ... I was right .. I 'm not sorry at all..."
when he apologies it doesn't ring true because he be at it again in 3 hrs

Just because he's paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get him.
Often he's correct in his theories. Sometimes not.

He is so paranoid and self pitying - it is sometimes painful to watch his ranting and raving - he needs some serious therapy :pat:

yeah but still paranoid all the time... that's a mental illness ... I could throw dice and statistically I'd be right some of the time...he comes out with hundreds of theories .. some are bound to come up hehe
what's worse is Rex feeds his deluded self hate fantasies by agreeing with him when Darnell fights with Sara. ...gawd how tragic ... I rated him early on when B block took on the moaners ... mario etc.

I don't think Darnell's theories are anywhere close to being like a game of chance with a dice. They're analytical, not purely random. The only problem I see is that he is inclined to beat himself up over things which aren't really his fault - for whatever reason - but as we've addressed, sometimes he's astute enough to realise it's not his fault at all.
I agree Rex takes the piss and winds him up over it but that's what Rex does. He takes people's faults and rubs their nose in it. Like when a dog ***** on the carpet - you rub it's nose in it so it doesn't do it again.
