Task: Big Brother Wedding!

Big Brother cordially invites you to the Big Brother Wedding but which two housemates will take each other 'till eviction do us part'?

This week's task will be given to the housemates today(Monday) - there will be preparations, speech writing, outfit making, stag and hen nights and finally, the wedding ceremony, which will take place on Wednesday.

First things first, the housemates must assign the roles from the happy couple to the clergyman and there are responsibilities for the whole group..

If housemates pass the task they will receive a privilege pass and their shopping allowance for next week, if housemates fail there will be no privilege pass and housemates must live off basic rations.

From Monday to Wednesday it's going to be wedding fever so dust down your hats and reach for a hanky.

DAY 1

DAYTIME

ROLES and RESPONSIBILITIES
Housemates must assign themselves a role to play in the wedding task. Each role will carry with it certain duties:

THE GROOM
Duties:
· Marry Bride
· Write and deliver speech.

THE BRIDE
Duties:
· Marry Groom
· Make wedding dress

(Special requirement: Groom must not see wedding dress before wedding.)

THE BRIDESMAID
Duties:
· Make Bridesmaid dress.
· Prepare Bride's hair and make-up on wedding day.
· Walk behind Bride in wedding procession.

THE BEST MAN
Duties:
· Write and deliver Best Man speech.
· Look after wedding rings.
· Decorate wedding cake.

THE CHORISTER
Duties:
· Learn the hymn "Pie Jesu" and sing at wedding service.

THE FATHER OF THE BRIDE
Duties:
· Give away bride.
· Write and deliver Father of the Bride speech.
· Decorate wedding cake.
· Dance inappropriately at the wedding reception.

THE CLERGYMAN
Duty:
· Write and deliver wedding service.

WEDDING PREPARATIONS AND PAMPERING
On day one the male housemates will prepare their roles for the wedding and the female housemates will have a day of pampering with manicure and pedicure sets, bath oils and body and hair treatments.

EVENING

HEN NIGHT
The female housemates will be provided with Hen Night accessorizes to dress up in. The boys will be told that they are to provide some entertainment for the Hen Night.

DAY 2

DAYTIME

On day two the female housemates will prepare their roles for the wedding and the male housemates will have a day of boys toys and gadgets.

EVENING

STAG NIGHT
The male housemates will be provided with Stag Night accessorizes to dress up in.
The girls will be told that they are to provide some entertainment for the Stag Night.

DAY 3

DAY OF THE WEDDING

The house garden will be dressed up for the wedding and outfits for the housemates (bar bride and bridesmaid) will be delivered.

The wedding service will take place followed by the wedding reception.

If all goes to plan and the housemates pass their task they will be rewarded with a privilege pass and a full shopping list for the following week..

I suppose the romantic meal was pretty obvious in BB2, but this is taking it to a whole new level.

The grooms family will smile on benignly and say things like 'Aren't they having an absolutely super time!' as the brides family get rat-arsed, belch, fart in unison and sing karaoke a la Celine Dion on Speed.

Michelle is getting so possessive as to be beyond belief. Poor old Stu cant move for her. She bosses him around all the time and he puts up with it. come on Stuart show you are a man (well almost) and say No to the girl.

Just hope that Stuart is evicted before Michelle - she will be having kittens thinking about what he is getting up to with the ladies out there!!!!! The green eyed monster will definitely strike her.

Monday 19 July

Big Brother has revealed this week's task to the housemates - a full-on wedding.

Big Brother has cordially invited you to a Big Brother wedding, which will see two housemates makes their vows..."till eviction do us part."

The big day is on Wednesday, and before then the housemates will choose a bride and groom, best man, bridesmaid, chorister, father of the bride and clergyman.

What with a dress to make, speeches to write, a cake to decorate, a hen party and stag do to organise and a reception to plan, the housemates have their work cut out for them.

If all goes according to plan they will pass their task and be rewarded with a privilege pass and a full shopping list for the following week.

A lot of vitriol has come the way of my client, Miss Bass, particularly over how she conducts her relationship with Mr Wilson.

Mr Wilson has a perfect remedy if he feels intimidated by my client. He can nominate her and give an oppressive relationship as a valid reason. This so far he has not done so. I have also myself observed Mr Wilson initiate a hugging session, rather than Miss Bass.

Why can you not see that perhaps this is a case where a genuine pair bonding has occured which neither party anticipated at the begining. Even Mr Sabba, (aka Marco) confirmed that this was genuine and he was in a position to tell.

Also a lot of vitriol directed at my client is because Miss bass is three years older than Mr wilson. Had this age difference been reversed, i.e Miss Bass younger by three years, then this would not be commented upon.

A lot of this negative comments is grossly unfair to my client, ill informed and one suspects motivated by over protective feelings towards Mr wilson.


On the age difference, my mother is seven years older than my father so why the big deal over three years?

A lot of people were sceptical about Helen and Paul lasting on the outside and Lee and Sophie getting together. Why should this be any different?

I would like to see Michelle and Stuart as the groom and bride, it would be a make or break task for the pair and get them thinking about marriage and such things, with perhaps the real thing after BB5. :love:

If that happened and they were happily married that would be one in the eye for the Michelle / Stuart haters :devil:

Sticks, the reason that everyone is getting anti-Michelle is because she has Stuart on a very short lease and comes across as very controlling. The thought of them having any osrt of meaningful relationship in the outside world makes me shudder!

With just one day to go until she 'marries' Victor, Shell has begun to make her wedding dress.

Big Brother has delivered the bride-to-be and her maid bags of materials with which to make their gowns for the big day.

In the next four hours both girls have to make their own dresses for the ceremony

Nadia's outfit is shaping up to be a peach, floor-length satin number with plunging neckline, while Shell is opting for something more simple - a "baby doll dress perhaps".

Whatever design Shell goes for, she won't have total control over her look - one of Nadia's bridesmaid responsibilities is seeing to the bride's hair and make-up before she walks up the aisle.

The rules stipulate that Shell isn't allowed to tend to a lock or even pick up a mascara wand on the morning of the nuptials...
